I wasn't planning on posting these online, partially because people seem to be so negative if it's not something they like or just like to make others feel like crap. I was at a local shopping center, and noticed someone looking at my car. I asked him if I could help him with something, and he just said he was admiring my seats. He's a member here, Hi J! And asked me to post the seats as they look nice and others might want something done like that.
Im not trying to sell these, as the person who did them charged me an amount that would be less installed then just seat covers would be. Added cushioning where needed, and also redid my rear deck and arm rest. Only thing left if I'm going to have the type s in front head rest embroidered in red and possibly replace exciting leather if needed be, but he's only going to charge me material if I do.
Here are some pictures, hope you guys like them. I know diamond pattern and suede aren't everyone's first choice, but I was pleasantly surprised at how everything came out.
Thanks for all the positive comments guys, I really appreciate it! Cost was $550 + a case of beer, I got a smoking deal because my friend is a good customer and friend of his.
The seats hold me a lot better on turns, and I love that the armrest actually doesn't feel like a cinder block any longer. I don't have any pictures of the rear deck, but will post some soon.
You might be asking why I used the old leather instead of replacing it. My old seats were still in overall good shape, just a few sections were tearing. I looked into repairing damaged sections only, bug it made more sense to do them all. Installer also said if I wanted to change the leather out that he wouldn't charge me for labor if I did it all at once.
