Car is pretty much done at this point

Finished putting as much of interior together as possible. I still need the shift boot so a few parts cannot be installed until the shift boot arrives.

Purchased that and shift knob this week

Installed door speakers, driver front window, both driver door panels, driver seat, ignition and ignition cover. Reinstalled cluster, cluster bezel, glove box and a bunch of other misc odds and ends.

Dropped the car off at paint shop and it should be done sometime next week. Front bumper is damaged and the whole car is keyed minus front driver door and fender. Hood and roof are OK. Because of how close the driver rear door is keyed to the front door he needs to paint both to blend it, so he decided to just shoot the whole car minus roof and hood to ensure everything matches well. He'll also repair front bumper. 1k for everything.

new before after. Bright side to this rebuild, these cars are super easy to work on. I had never touched a TL prior to rebuilding this car and you guys saw how easy it went. I ran into a few headaches along the way, but nothing too extreme.

I have the airbag, just haven't installed it. and the rest of the stuff that isn't installed will need to wait until shift boot, but car is pretty much done!

figured I'd give you guys one last update. Last month a girl hit me =(

Was 5 minutes from my house, she ran a stop sign making a turn at a "T" intersection, completely came in my lane and smacked into my driver side. She panicked/froze so she hit me at full force without braking. Car is pretty much totaled. I've been busy with work, but just had the chance to get it to some body shops for estimates with the lowest of 5700 and the highest of $7500. All 3 said they can only give an estimate on what they can visually see, but once they start removing stuff, it will likely go up a few thousand more. I'm bummed! Hard to find a WDP, 6 speed with navigation and only had 51kish thousand miles.

RIP

Yeah man, I'm pretty disappointed to say the least.

I had a theme going:

White s2000 6 speed
White e46 M3 6 Speed
White TL 6 speed

=/ Also, with my goal to convert to black, I didn't even realize it wasn't an option for this year until I went to CL to search for another. Trying to get the insurance to NOT total it out.
