Cheap fuck, invest in some 3M film for the optima
And you forgot to do the A pillars!!
If you've only put 50 miles on the TL this year, what is your DD?

It's been crazy the last two months. Getting married on the 27th! Less than two weeks away!!!! I decided to take out the TL and release some stress from all the planning. What a great feeling to hear that whine and shift those gears. Teaser, we got a 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo for the weekend of the wedding. Best believe i'm using every bit of mileage on that car.
Took a few crappy cell phone shots yesterday. Going to a car show this Saturday! Hope to win a trophy. Maybe not.. LOL

You nervous at all? Excited? all that fun fun stuff lol.
I heard about the S2000. I'm glad everything is better now. That would make me crawl in bed and cry myself to sleep.

Those two weeks without the S2k were horrible. I didn't eat or sleep for the first few days after. I was literally sick to my stomach over it. However, it's back on the road, and I'm loving every minute!

Back up from the dead. My TL needed some TLC today. It's been sitting since the wedding. Naturally, the car was completely dead. The cold winter had taken it's toll under the hood. A lot of the painted covers started to peel. Eventually I'll get them hydro dipped. I purchased a new power steering pump months ago, I decided today was warm enough to replace. I attempted to install the new Carbon fiber "Acura" front bumper in lays, but it's still not warm enough. The car cover beat up part of the paint, nothing that a one step compound won't resolve. In the spring time, ill take a full day to bring the car back to it's prestige state. It felt good going out for a spin again. The wife was a trooper today. She helped me detail all three vehicles and assisted in the power steering pump swap. Shes's a keeper!
New pump getting ready to be installed.
Bought this intake maninfold cover off of ebay. Not a fan of the Red, but it's 100% better than my POS, peeling cover.
Those carbon fiber "Acura" decals. Will install, once it's warmer out.
Installed new Acura logo valve stem caps. Old ones, had separated from the caps.
Old pump out. Leaking from the backside.
New pump in.
Some elbow grease and new cover installed.
Out for a spin with the wifey and snapped some shots.
Showing some love for my wife's car

Beautiful
Sorry if you mentioned this earlier in your thread, just wondering if your headlights are tinted? They look great and was looking into doing something similar...less problematic and invasive than opening them up to clear them. Thanks in advance.

A small update. I've decided to redo a few things under the hood. I purchased a pair of valve covers from a wrecked TL for $40.00 bucks. I'd like to get both valve covers powder coated in "Shimmer Candy Teal" and have the intake manifold cover with the intake manifold end caps done in "Midnight Clear". I also told them to do the bracket for the p/s hose and the front valve cover harness holder (Metal bracket that bolts to the front cover). I also order a fresh set of valve cover gasket set with a new PCV valve. My plans are to also touch up the black on the blower and re-polish the intake manifold once it's off.
The under hood covers, started to peel. I found a guy in south NJ who does Hydro dipping. His work looks great and his prices were much cheaper than most other companies I've called. I decided to do a darker carbon fiber finish. It's the closets thing to looking like real carbon fibers. I wasn't brave enough to do anything funky. I wanted to keep it clean and simple. Here are some photos I've snapped before things got dropped off.
Shimmer candy teal for the valve covers
Midnight clear for the intake manifold cover plus misc stuff.

This is the finish I want.

She's doing great. Got her out of Anil's garage towards the beginning of February. We're consistently in the upper 50's and 60's here in KC, so she's home for good. I'm still waiting for my red seat belts from the guy in Toronto....damn it.

I picked these up yesterday. It's been a very busy weekend. I don't think the powder coating shop did the right color as I requested. I told them Midnight clear on the cover plus misc items. It looks off from the sample strip. The hydro dipped covers should be ready by tonight or tomorrow. Hopefully this weekend I can install everything. I also bought NBP high temp paint from G2 to redo the blower. It was the closest thing to having blue flakes on black. I don't trust anyone handling the blower for powder coating. Last time it was "handled with care" it ended up costing me..
This is the custom G2 high temp caliper paint in (NBP)
