Just got my New TL a week ago... Can someone tell me how much of an effect 18/19 inch rims have on ride comfort and also will the dealer start howling about it voiding the warrenty if i take it in to the dealership?
Thanks in advance for your time..

P.S the 'your baby" looks Grreat!

Any recomendations as to where i can get similar rims and what did they cost if you don't mind me asking?

The rims are 19 inch Racing Hart Pro J5 rims. The Rims are rapped around with Toyo Proxes 235/35R19.
The wheels actually cost me about $2600.00. My friend works at Tire place and he gave me a good deal. He must have put at least 8 different rims on my car before i decided on the Racing Hart. Wheels make the car. The cheapest i found the wheels online was about $3000.00

The rims actually ride nicer then my stock wheels. as to answer the question about the warrenty when replacing your wheels if they would void i can't be sure. My brother works for Acura so i could pretty much warrenty anything.

Other Mods include:

Comptech Springs
Comptech Exhaust
Rear sway bar
INJEN intake system
Short Shift Kit
HID fog lamps

Soon im planning to work on the interior of my car. TV's and Playstation on the way.

More photos on the way if anyone wants to see more

...................

Finally was able to upload a few more photos of my car. Hope you like what you see. I have also included one of my headlights so that you could see that i added HID's to my center lights. I only took one photo in the day time but soon to get one at night.

When i get time i'll include more photos of all my toys. I also have a 2005 Yamaha R6, 2004 Yamaha 660R Raptor quad and my brother & I own a 1993 Mazda RX-7 which we have done a lot of work to.

Enjoy and if you have any suggestions please let me know

nice looking wheels.
One question though. Where the spoke comes from middle to outer edge then goes back into wheel, how hard is it to clean that tight little area. Looks like it would be a bitch to get at.

Yes 92NSX the rims are har to clean. The space between the spoke and the lip are pretty tight but i can still fit a thin rag through. I have to say i love everything about the rim execpt that its really hard to clean but when it is the rims look really good. Plus i give the guy at the hand car wash an extra tip so he can spend more time on my wheels.

Thanks CTL....
Ok here goes... hope this shows properly

The wheels are 19"X 8.5" Ace's with 235/35/19. they look great but when i drive on local streets i feel like i'm walking on Egg shells. Since i'm not far from NYC i'm not sure if i should have gone with 40's.

Even tho 235/35/19 is as close to stock overall rolling diameter, 245/35/19 seems to be more popular and a bit less harsh, but a 40 series would be too much and will make the wheel look like an 18". nice setups anyway, both of you guys.

AcuraTL10: what offset are you using?

And do you think those same wheels in 19x9 would fit? What about with the fenders rolled?

The offset on the wheels i believe is a 37 offset. That wheel is a 19 by 8.5. a 9 inch wheel will fit with a 235/ 35R19 or even a 245. The fenders in the front are not rolled but my friend did have to roll the rear for the rear sits lower.

The car does not rub at all and i lowered the car with Comptech springs.

I wish i could have done a staggered look but that rim only comes in an 8.5 wide i think, i could be wrong but then again you could always put a wider tire in the rear to give it a more aggressive look

Thanks you guys for all your opinions. The fog lights are actually a whole kit. See i work at a body shop and pretty much help my self to anything. I made a complete set from cars that were in accidents. I actually have another set that im gunna put for as lower fog lights but have not found the right lights that look good for the car.

the next mod will be the interior system and videos. Im planning on coverting the navi screen to a TV and then place two in the headrest. As far as a system not really sure yet. The stock system is just not loud enough. I dont want to change the head unit but just upgard the interior speakers and a custom box for the trunk. Still have no idea on what brands to use maybe Diamond Audio speakers for the interior and JL's for the box.

Soon ill post new pics of the car at night with the lights and also my Brothers 04 TSX along with our other toys

When you installed the springs, did you have to instal a camber kit also? I just bought some 19" Foose Speedsters for my TL. It looks good but I do need to drop it. How much did the springs run you? Did you change out the struts too?

No i never put a camber kit on my car after i lowered it. I did have to roll the quarter wheel wells to keep it from rubbing. the front fenders i left alone. The springs lowered the car about 1 1/2 inches after the car settled. I don't really know how much they cost because i had all the comptech stuff done right at the dealer before i picked up my car and they added the price to my sticker. I think they run about $250.00 or so.

I never changed out the struts just the springs were changed and the rear sway bar
