looking good man, I'm surprised you went with a 8" wide wheel, the A-spec 18s are 18 X 8.5... So it would make sense to get 19 x 8.5

thanx man
they came in 19x8 (+45mm offset) and 19x9 (+30mm offset)... and I didn't like the low offset... so I went with the 19x8.. but I will put 255 tires instead of 245 when It's time to change tires.

wow I must admit, props to konig for doing such a different conceptual wheel, but I'm not to crazy about the tire blending in with the wheel lip, can't tell where one starts and one ends. It must look so crazy in person.

I was checking out your dyno and I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

It doesn't look like the engine in your Altima is heavily modified--just CAI, exhaust and mid-pipe. Yet, it has more HP and torque than the TL? Is that right? I thought Altima had 250hp and TL had 270hp at the flywheel. So, how is it that the TL has less?

Anyways, so is your Altima faster?

Btw, nice looking car...

Not to continue with the thread jacking, but....
I really believe the v6 altima is faster than the 04 TL. The altima's engine is very powerful, with a lot of torque. Its the same engine as the G35 and Z.
I have seen 1/4 mile drag times for the Alti in the 14.1s to the 14.3s.
for the TL 14.3s to 14.7s

That being said, the Alti does not compare in any other way.

Why go with 255s? As it is, the wheels seem sort of overtaken by the tires (the sidewalls are pertruding well beyond the edge of the rim). I would stick with the 245 IMO...also, are you notice that the Nittos are way too noisy? Thats my biggest complaint with them..otherwise they stick really well.

well two reasons why i don't have them... 1) I just bought the car last week and 2) I don't need another car labled "PULL ME OVER" like my altima
being said, i'll try to keep the modification minimum in this car...

I gotta admit that those aren't my type of wheels... but my friend Nick (from altimas.net) made me buy those and I'm very pleased and happy with my purchase... they DO look crazy in person.. it's a lot different than seeing it in person... and I just love that +45mm offset on those wheels

well, there is NO question that the altima has A LOT more torque (as we speak)... which is very fun to drive. and you are correct about my engine mods.. I have only mid-pipe, exhaust, and popcharger intake... so I'm hoping after the break-in period I'll have better results.. I will dyno both cars again in about 3 months (both on stock wheels) to see what I really get.

which one is faster? Altima smoke the shit out of the TL (I actually did race a few time... me driving the altima and my friend driving the TL)... but we did a freeway start and both cars performed EXACTLY the same... We took off at 60mph and went upto 105mph and the only differece was that the altima was 5 times louder... lol which don't make any sense, because the dyno shows less horsepower and torque on the TL and TL is heavier, but yet, they both perform the same

True.. I wish these were 8.5" wheels so I could put 255... cuz I think 245 look skiny when you look at it from behind
