Wideband A/F monitoring

If I were to combine either the AEM Wideband UEGO Inline Controller or the X-WiFi box that will feedback to the F/IC 6 or 8, do I really need to monitor the A/F ratio with a gauge?

It would still be nice to have a physical eye on it when driving. Tuning the tuner should be able to load it on the laptop to monitor it. You will be needing a 6 not an 8.
