WHY WHEELHOP IS SO DEADLY!! LSD carnage =/
#82
the car is jacked up at the front.
car is off, and is in 1st gear.
when I rotate the passenger tire forward or to the right, the sticker I put on the left (driver side) spins the opposite way.
or I think.
Now, Im just confused.
this test confirms that the LSD is working. or, thats how I understand
Now that I kinda know its not the LSD, I wonder why my car feels so different.
could the torn mount allow the tranny to shift its weight enough to where it throws balance off?
as in, when driving the car doesnt feel correct.
Sorry, that I cant put my feelings into words......

To some degree, you are definitely feeling the engine and transmission moving around. Afterall, the transmission is bolted up to the engine, so any normal engine movement will become more apparent due to the failed transmission mount not doing its job.
This is a shot in the dark but because the TL is a FWD car, the lack of support from the dead mount may be placing more of the engine and transmission's weight on one of the front tires. If you haven't checked your tire pressures in a while, it would be interesting to see if the weight bias has effected any of the tires' pressures over time.
Is the car notably pulling to the left or right when driving around? Or does it seem like the steering pulls one way or another when accelerating?
Good luck Justin. Sorry to hear about the accident

thats just a cover. You have to remove that bolt and look at the actual rubber mount. You need to put a jack under the motor to hold it up since your bottom mount is toast.
