Okay, now to the point. He has an S2000 which he picked up a few months ago. Of course, we raced several times. My mods are listed in the signature, and we are DEAD EVEN, provided we both get good launches, or take off at the same time from a roll.

His S2000 has nothing, as far as power mods go. So for you to say that you can pull on an S2000 in a stock auto TL... it's complete horse shit. My car is putting down 239.8 fwhp, plus a couple more engine mods since then, and I was dead even with a stock S2000 with a good driver. You're gonna need more than a stock auto TL, fella.

Yeah, I've seen the video a few years back. I wouldn't go up against an S2000 on a road course. I would get my ass kicked.

He sent me a private message.

I guess he took it pretty personally.

I wasn't going to post it, but this is too funny.

Cha's original PM to me --

Hey buddy,

First off i didnt state weather or not I had a 6mt so I see why you thought I had an auto.
You didnt have to come at me the way you did tho.
In your sig it says nothing bout you owning a 6mt so i didnt know you had one.
I said I owned a 2nd gen when the other guy was 17 not me.

I have a bunch of friends out in MI that i've been meaning to visit so I was wondering where in MI you live so we can meet face to face and finish this convo.
I can fly out this weekend if you would like.

My reply to him --

I had already forgotten all about it until you PMed me. It's not that big of a deal so don't get all worked up about it. Take a chill pill and relax.

As for your proposition, I have no interest in meeting you. It almost sounds like a threat to me, and if it was, grow up.

If not, the answer is still no.

Then he wrote back to me --

Yea I didnt think you would meet up with me cuz all you can do is talk tuff and hide behind your pc. So keep up the tuff talk pussy and you will catch it one day.

Over a petty argument online. What an idiot. Does this make him feel like a tough guy or something?

I sent you a pm to talk to you one on one not trying to look tuff in front of anyone. I'm not the one thats keeps posting off topic for everyone to see. I simply asked you to meet face to face to finish a convo that was it.

I didn't post it until you started calling names again in the second message... the content of which was virtually the same as our public conversation so it didn't deserve any privacy.

Let me try being uncivilized, too.

Fuck off. I'll kick your ass.

Damn, I feel like a tough guy. Is that how you feel?

Making threats and calling names unprovoked... you're a real winner.

My 03 cls6 will smoke all you fools in reverse. Forget cornering, you don't stand a chance.

It is funny how 3rd gen tl owners don't get that the cars are basically the same.

The things I like better about cl are the cable throttle, hydraulic steering, heads without the exhaust manifolds cast into them, no silly compliance bushings that need to always be replaced, dash does not crack, etc. etc.

I have driven both vehicles in 6mt configuration and the feel of the cl was superior to me. I feel more connected to the car.

Don't worry oldsman. The 3rd gen section is a joke full of idiots. Only a few ppl on here have any automotive knowledge.

Their most popular mod is fake brake caliper covers, what a joke.

I don't know how many times I've called you out. Meet me at Willow Springs. I have no power mods, no weight reduction. In fact my TL weighs more than stock with the audio system. I'm a drag racer, remember. I don't know how to take corners as you've said. Let's take a trip to the track and film it for the forum to see.

Last time I checked, our 3G TLs used a power steering pump which is a hydraulic power assist for the rack and pinion.

What's wrong with the exhaust maniold cast into the heads, stock for stock we make more power than you.

Cable throttle would be nice for sure. But the 3G has the quickest responding DBW I've ever driven.

You don't have a compliance bushing but you do have a radius arm with associated bushing prone to it's own problems. I wouldn't give up the 3G's double wishbones for anything, it's superior to what you have for it's street manners, tire wear, and performance without having to resort to super stiff springs.

All I ever see of you is your little comments and then you disappear. You talk like you're this great driver in every thread, now you have a guy in a stock 3G 5at willing to run you at what you consider yourself best at (on the road course) so here's your chance to back up all the trash you've been talking.
