I know someone who runs a factory that manufactures plastics, I could get a plastic cover if need be, the problem is a mold may cost a 400 bucks? and then the actually plastic may be about 200? I'm not sure I'll ask this Friday when I see him!

the moonroof on my 2nd gen cl weighs 30lbs, just weighed it, probably the same for the tl give or take a couple pounds.

^ Yeah probably close to that but should be a bit more. The TL has a physically larger sunroof and the controls are top mounted!

Good info. It does look like it weighs a good amount.

...do you still have your CL?

I am not kidding about mid V8. It would be easier and cleaner mod than installing turbo on TL engine.
Could you share you measurements then???

No need for a turbocharger really (that would be cool though), the OP already runs a supercharger and it can produce respectable power once proper fuel and ignition parameters are dialed in, which Hondata ECU reflash will take care of.

Oh that's truly awesome!

I'm glad you're still tinkering with the CL's...i thought you were done with it when you sold the turbo from the silver one.

Never sold it, it's still for sale. I can see me putting it back on one day as most of the newer members are still making there way through sckool and money is tight for most of them.

I'd like to see what you make of the CL, are you going to do anything to lighten up the body?

Roof panel is 40” * 59” * 0.02” or metric 1000 mm * 1500 mm * 0.5 mm

Volume is: 47.2 cubic inches or 750000 mm^3 = 0.75 l

Weight is: 47.2 cubic inches * 0.28 lb/cubic inch = 13.2 lb or 0.75 l * 7.8 kg/l = 5.8 kg

FWD is BS with 260 HP. With more power it just becomes bigger BS.
