UPS just delivered my AEM v2!!

Can't wait to install. So, now I'm looking for my next new part. I was thinking a lightweight pulley. But I can't decide whether to go underdrive or standard diameter. Is there enough difference between the two to definitely go underdrive? All input is appreciated, & I'm kinda new to this so I may ask some stupid questions. Thanks!

If you have a stereo system in your car then go with the stock diameter.

If you don't then the underdrive pulley is your thing

This should help you a little more, better description

^^^ i believe if you have a stereo system, then you should get the UNDERDRIVE pulley and if you do NOT have a stereo system then you get the STOCK sized pullley.

anyway, enjoy the V2! awesome mod and i love the sound!

You need the stock pulley if you have a system. It will create the same amount of power. If you use the underdrive, the power level has decreased, causing problems since your system needs that extra power, that you would be loosing by going with the underdrive. You will also have to buy a new belt with the underdrive pulley.

Stock size is better, if you ever plan on buying a SC...you wont throw off the pulley ratio, since the stock SC pulley is calculated with the stock diameter crank pulley...if u have an UNDERDRIVE, boost will be in lower levels.
