I was in the same boat not too long ago, and my best advice is do some research and use whatever facts you find to convince yourself.
Everyone on here will vouch for the brand they have.

With that being said, check out the vendors on here.

i dont know why other than I have been new to things before..

What are you after? exactly? and how would you prioritize?
Looks? stopping power? do you drive like you stole it? very aggressive or occasionally aggressive? or just spirited?
What also is the cost limit you have?

what 1black said is correct though, there is a lot of info out there and a lot of opinions.. I would say once you kind of know what you want the search would be much easier

We offer brake packages for the Acura models. Just choose your vehicle below to find the pricing.

http://store.excelerateperformance.c...s/g-63863.aspx

The packages include Powerslot/STOPTECH performance rotors and STOPTECH Performance pads. All of the rotors have a black e-coating on the hubs and vanes and an advanced alloy composition. The Powerslot slotted rotors for the front of most Acuras also have a Power Alloy composition and a curved vane construction, which helps reduce heat in the brake system. The STOPTECH Performance pads are a para-aramid compound, which has great initial bite and long-term performance and lower dust and noise than most aftermarket brake pads.

However we can substitute ceramic pads for you if you'd like. PM me for more info.

^ these guys are good as well as a vendor.

Also check out Brakemotive. They have a drilled/slotted rotor and pad combo that is pretty good.

If you're looking for PERFORMANCE, then Excelerate does have good package

If you just want less dust and good looks for a daily driver, then Brakemotive kits are 1/2 the price. I think somewhere around:

150$ for regular brakes (automatic transmission)
225$ for Brembo (if you have 6MT or a Type-S)

and those prices are including shipping for 4 sets of pads and 4 rotors, front and rear. Its a great deal.

I suggest you research the differences between slotted/drilled and plain rotors. Very little documented proof that slotted/drilled provides any better performance than plain rotors. A big brake kit makes more sense as rotor surface area increases and you have more/bigger pistons on the calipers. If you find any decent information on rotors, post a link here.

Get a bbk if you are wanting the best performance. Drilled and slotted rotors are pretty much for looks only. Look at the F1 brakes, they are plain rotors.

F1 brakes aren't drilled because they're carbon. I've posted the white paper results as well as my own on drilled vs slotted vs blank. For performance blank and slotted is the way to go. Again, the research has been done and is on this site.
