Tweaking Stage 4 exhaust on TL-S

I took my TL-S to get the resonator and mid muffler taken out. Overall I like the sound except for a real ricey, go-kart like rasp around 2400 rpms. I'd like to add some low end to the sound as well.

So I started looking at different options: Add a muffler back in, if so what kind; replace the rear mufflers and tips, again I'd have no idea if that would fix my problem; or should I just bite the bullet and buy an ATLP exhaust?

It's very subjective. I have ATLP Base res/RV6 Jpipe v3 and drone is fairly apparent inside the cabin in the 2-3k rpm range. I do think the car sounds pretty badass and throaty when you're rowing the gears though.
My buddy has an 06 as well with the ATLP quads non-res/RV6 jpipe v3, his is much louder and raspier. I don't think it sounds "bad" by any means but I could see some people thinking that his set-up is too loud for a daily driver.

i have the xlr8 resonated quads, HFPCs, and xlr8 j pipe, and i get the same rattle/vibrating sound at 2400 rpm also. i can only hear it when my windows are down but it is definitely annoying, when i go through that area on WOT i don't hear it (ILC had the same issue looking at some videos he posted on youtube)

i am considering putting the magnaflow in (12640) to replace the small xlr8 resonator but can't come to hacking up the exhaust yet

Yeah i dont blame you. But changing up the resonator in your case should help the problem, but you'll definitely lost a little sound. In my case, since i just have a str8 pipe, it will severely just get rid of a lot of sound if i put in a new reonator.

The fix is to add a resonator.
