Turbo Kit for Acura TL '04-'08

The 60A is a joke even for an oem 5AT.
The 75A, which I have, is good (or marginal?) for a modified N/A 5AT.
For any 6MT, boosted 5AT, or better, the 85A would be needed.
This is all my opinion based on what we have seen on our forum to date.
I would *not* recommend anyone that is getting the turbo to wait on getting the mounts. Wheel hop will break an axle very quickly. And, a turbo'ed TL will be very easy to break the tires loose (inducing hop).
If you don't have the IM 85A mounts, it would be wise to have the VSA (traction control) turned on at all times. In all honesty, I believe that our forum should be more opened-minded to the VSA traction control if you are highly modded (275+ whp). I can understand how the oem guys can benefit from wheel spin which allows the engine to get into the powerband. But for the 300+ whp guys, I would think that the traction control would produce better et's.
I had always felt that the traction control helped me. And, it was confirmed, at least in my case, when I made my 0-60 video. Hands-down, I had must better 0-60 with traction control. Without traction control, the 0-60 was just a wheel-spin exhibition run (fun to watch, but terrible et)..

Interested as well. What are the "to the rollers" hp/tq numbers. I would like to see this on a dyno sheet as it correlates to usable power.

I will be for a minute the only west coast turbo 3G , but Madizs another member also ordered the kit. UPS is update crazy, when I make summit orders. 10:01 package on truck, 10:12 package dropped and kicked by courier, 11:04 package has exceeded the posted speed limit for the road on which it is traveling. I can order parts from Summit Racing up to 6 pm and have it by 11 am the next day. I am not sure how they do it.
Is the general consensus that Innovative mounts are the only way to go?
Also I think we need to be home to sign for this bad boy, some may choose the office to avoid conflict with the wife.

I believe that Innovative refuses to sell the inserts separately. But if they did sell them, then yes we could replaced them ourselves. No press is needed.
Just going by stuff I read, if you have firm mounts, the 6MT will *not* hop. If you have IM and you do have hop, then you got donuts and need to replace the mounts.

There is a thread in the CL forums where people are rebuilding the stock mounts with stiffer material. I haven't seen anything with the IM's.
Isn't the ETD a connection between the Engine and the Tranny? Did you notice any difference replacing the stock one with the NRG? I asked the same question yesterday and I haven't seen an answer yet.

Josh has my full review, so I'll ask him to post it up when it's ready (hopefully very soon)
An adapter wouldn't fit, so this wasn't possible.

I felt a significant difference over stock. I was the guinea pig for Excellerates' ETD.
Same thing for the 3G, I'm able to press OEM down with little effort. The new one required my full weight (150lbs) to budge ever so slightly if at all, and that's with the 'softer' bushings installed

I sure wish Josh would tell us what these are, why they are better and where the heck they are.

12 psi seems like it's pushing the envelope.. even tested & tuned I'd be very concerned with stock rods & pistons.

90a poly filled oem mounts.
a very well done launch with nice tires
not true. poor radius rod arm bushings will also cause hop.
2nd gen guys did the above and it works.
not cool, but i guess its alright

Inclement weather conditions at Memphis hub may cause some service delays and disruptions within the U.S. today
Hi Speed may get his shipment before Bert and myself since all the snow is either in our path or possibly in Bert's case hitting him.
