Looking forward to it a groupbuy or 6 or more people at once would help which in return would allow us to offer a special groupbuy price...

Cool. Is there a document or web page that explains how to do this? Hell of a lot cheaper than going aftermarket if it's reliable.

Yeah that was pretty stupid. According to them I'm close to making an estimated 1200 in my supra.

I am going to order mine in the morning, Josh said he only stocks the 60A so it may take a week to get the stiffer mounts.

Did we ever get a confirmation on whether the kit was coming in one shipment or multple.

XLR8 is supposed to have some new mount design but it's been in transit for like 8-10 weeks now. Josh seems to be ignoring me so I'm taking my business elsewhere.

I only got one number and I assume it's coming in multiple packages. Bert is probably the first to get it so we'll see on Wed or Thurs for mine. I'm about 6-8hrs North of NJ.

While were on the subject of mounts, since 6MT already has a ETD, is there any advantage to replacing it with an aftermarket unit?

Bert or Hi Speed will probably be before me.

It's 16 deg, snowing and I am still working on getting my garage heated. Also haven't done anything like battery relocate so I am likely to be last. But I will put my progress out there when I do get started.

I don't think FedEx Home updates very often. Mine doesn't show any progress either, I was just going on the ship location of Miramar, FL and the time it takes to get here which is 4 biz days.

I am getting the same questions too

I will be for a minute the only west coast turbo 3G , but Madizs another member also ordered the kit. UPS is update crazy, when I make summit orders. 10:01 package on truck, 10:12 package dropped and kicked by courier, 11:04 package has exceeded the posted speed limit for the road on which it is traveling. I can order parts from Summit Racing up to 6 pm and have it by 11 am the next day. I am not sure how they do it.

Is the general consensus that Innovative mounts are the only way to go?
Also I think we need to be home to sign for this bad boy, some may choose the office to avoid conflict with the wife.

the shipments will not update until 5pm eastern today. the packages were dropped off on saturday, so they will be in transit today. We apologize for any confusion that occurred due to lack of clarity on our behalf. Thank you again for your patience and we want you guys to know that we've been pressuring others and almost ruining our business relationship with others just to keep our deadline in which we failed horribly. We know for a fact that this is not a cheap investment and you have every right to be a bit irritated when things dont exactly line up. Another reason is that there is always one small factor that can be improved before we send the kits out and since our reputation is on the line, we want to take everything into consideration. A few of the pipes were re-done, so upgrades like clutch replacement will be easier. These are the things that came up in the final stages of the kit when working on Rodney's car. We realized it took too much time to replace the clutch and improved on that. Our regular 9-5 jobs and families caused another delay around the holidays, so for New Years we were working more than ever. The Type S project went so well that we almost drove off of a cliff after we realized how easy it was compared to the 04-06 even though the 04-06 was a success. Luckily we couldn't find a decent cliff in Florida and the project went on.....
Hopefully you guys understand that we are somewhat in the same boat as customers ourselves, im not making excuses but i think you guys deserved a detailed explanation for some of the delays. Most businesses don't expose their set backs but we did expect them because this was our first year of business. Im pleased to say that things are already coming together well this year with some of the news Rodney provided a few pages back.

Once Again
Thank You

I hope you didn't take this as a problem on my part. My hope (expectation) is all of these delays are just part of developing a near (should I say?) perfect kit.

Like I said, it's the dead of winter up here and this is typically when we see -30 deg evenings. So for me, I am not as in a hurry. I haven't driven my TL in the salt yet and when I do drive in the winter, it is when it is dry.

Thanks for the explanation but no worries from me

im gonna stick with oem until they break. probably in a week lol. if and when they break, if excellerate doesnt have the new mounts ill just go with innovative.

i called fedex to tell them not to deliver it to my door bc they always come an hour after i leave for work and noone else is home. ill pick it up from the office since it needs a signature.

No Kurt. This was in no way shape or form directed at you individually. the delays are in fact buying us time for a near to perfect kit. You have every right to ask these question. i did this because most of the members see the questions being asked publicly but we usually respond in PM's. This is basically clarification for the a-zine community which includes potential new customers or just members wanting to know how the project is going. Now that things are looking up, we're actually anxious to do more kits hopefully in a group buy where it can come out cheaper for everyone since we're buying in bulk and not individually. We do know that import tuning is a spectator sport so most of the potential buyers are waiting for you guys to get your cars up and running.
