Tony Kanaan's TL
Tony Kanaan was on windtunnel tonight and he mentioned that he had a TL that he was "tuning". Does anybody have an inside scoup on what it is he's doing to it? By the way he said the word "tuning" and considering the fact he has millions to play around with I'd be really interested to see what he's doing.

The TL deserves some recognition by tuners.

Tony Kanaan races the 7-Eleven car for Honda in the IRL. He's currently second in the championship points. Next to his TL in his garage sits 2 Farrari's, an 812hp Benz and an assortment of other insane cars. He has the TL as a promotional thing I'm sure and I doubt he even had to pay for it.
Having the Honda racing team at his fingertips I'm very curious to see what he does to it.

Well hes obviously needs a nice sedan for the family and the wife, and I bet you hes got pretty strong relations with honda, so he knew the TL was the right pick. And now hes going to make it the most unique vehicle possible. IE make the rest of us extremelly jealous.

Long-time CA&E readers know that Kanaan also loves ICE. The man's always working on projects, despite being home only an average of 2 days in the season to work in his shop. Currently on the operating table are an Acura TL and a BMW M3. He plans to upgrade the entire package for each vehicle. For specialized performance parts he can turn to his team mechanics, but for the mobile electronics he'll have to go elsewhere. Will Kanaan be producing an Imprint RLS caliber vehicle of his own? We'll keep an eye on him.

I think his M3 has been done for a while. As for the TL thats a new one for me. Kanaan seems to like the tuner scene a lot as I have seen him in a lot of interviews.
