Where is everyone getting their headers installed? How much would the shop charge to install them?

When I spoke with Mike earlier this evening...he told me the pics came out foggy looking and he is working on taking new ones. At that time...he told me he almost had ten together. Was just taking names and # at that time for list.

PS...he also can answer your dyno and HP questions....he said they got them to make even more power or something my changing another thing...but I kind of lost him in the train of conversation honestly. I do know he was saying good things....just lost track of the #'s as they were related fairly quickly to me and I didnt write it down.

I talked to him yesterday and I am on the list. He also told me that they finished the final product on Nitro's car yesterday and they also put an AEM cai on too. The dino showed 260 whp. I forget the torque numbers but he said they gained 27 whp from aem cai and headers. That is def a plus.

So the AEM cai only bumped it up 6 HP.

Im not sure if he said that with the aem cai the headers gave 27 hp. Or with cai and headers it gave 27 hp. Nitro will be able to elaborate more on this.

Working on the pics from him today i hope i can get them posted but i will post my new dyno sheet. yes i added the aem and dynoyed a peak whp 261.1 and 232.7 tq i have video of the car being dynoed as well i will try and post all i can through the day

Technically your TL should be the quickest UA6 6MT Naturally Aspirated. (The Honda R&D TL is excluded)

261 whp is a stout number. I'm impressed.

You will run high 13s..maybe 13.858 at 102mph

i think he plans on a dyno of before and after if your installing it there i am trying to post the latest dyno sheet as we speak. i beleieve i will be faster than 13.8 i ran 14.0 several times with a slipping clutch

according to the numbers you should be looking at 260+ of torque and 315+ of whp. That is awesome. I wonder if you will be able to get down to the 12's in the quarter. I hope so because that is what I am aiming for with this car.... I want a fast ass luxury car. The look on the faces of those new mustang GT owners and some cobras when they get beat by a 6cy Acura is almost worth the 5 grand for the sc and headers.

Ok guy's it's really game time we asked for this to get done now let's show some support to the shop who took the time to make this. I will post my dyno sheet later of the last run we did which was 261whp. were are you getting 21hwp for this money. Bang for dollar this is the best upgrade and you still pass emissions. if you have a cai then you should make the 261whp like i did.

Remember all you accord guy's this works for you as well

I spoke to him, last week and the price is fine. I have no problem dropping the money off saturday. I would just like a few more pics, or even if he has the accord hes working on in shop. Be able to just get a better look at the setup.

ESP - I see you got that vendor paperwork taken care of quickly . Two questions for you:

1) How much do these things weigh...trying to get an estimate on shipping expense.

2) What is involved to do the install...are bolts and things easy to reach or is a lot of other part removal necessary?

I was going to do the supercharger right after the headers, but RIPP is supposed to be coming out with one that gives 100whp. So I dont know if I want to do comptech witch is out now or wait another year and do RIPP. Im on top of the fence with this now.

i was going to wait for ripp also. I actually offered my car to do R&D work but I am on the fence right know also. They want me to give them my car for weeks at a time for no charge to them and fo rme to also pay for the S/C itself just a free install. I dont see that happening. I already have the comptech at home but I think I am going to wait till spring and nicer weather cause I am going to do it myself.

There is one more cat pic that replaces the one on the down pipe i will try and shoot one This Mod is awesome guy's Drove the car last night on the backroads and it got 33mpg on the highway 27mpg to 28mpg the aem is probally sucking up more air so the fuel is burning faster but hey i only lost 1 mpg on highway and intown with the aem

Well this is all I wanted to say, Im in for the meet. Blktl1 I would not do it either. Just for an installation, you will be out for your car for a long time. I have no patience so I might just go with comptech. I think it might be safer with comptech since a few have it and no problems.
