There was a step but I dont remember it being a bypass. and I check my TB last night and coolant still runs in and out of TB. Ill be doing this mod tonight

I am wondering now if my car is still having pinging issues when the temp gets over 80 do I want the IAT sensor to be located in the IM for higher readings or in the relocation spot on the CAI ????

You disconnect the throttle body hose completely. Re-route the coolant hose back to the engine.

yeah im going to get this done right now , i need some more ideas to reduce air temp, and no i dont want to put insolation around CAI.

its over 80 degrees and getting humid in FL and my car is pinging again even with the mods. I am thinking that I will just not drive hard at all until 70 degree temps again. Its a shame. Chevron with Techron seems to help too as I am pining more with V-power then I was using Chevron for the past month.

I will try all the little things first and then after some time passes I will just have to get engine managment or get rid of the cars in a year but will most likely go with the latter.

and that sounds a lot like the Fujita setup. I remember just replacing the hosing, not neccesarily re-routing the coolant, but good find, and if the AEM CAI does do this, then maybe this explains the better power you get from an AEM at lower rpms

AEM just reroutes the coolant back into the TB, I just did this mod tonight.

Yup, it is the Fujita. I replaced a hose, but no rerouting...
