Thinking about exhaust setup...

In the spring time i cant wait to put on my springs...I also want a setup for my exhaust. I was thinking about buying the whole setup from RV6 but then i had other thoughts as well. I kinda want the loudest setup without sounding much like a muscle car. and ofcouse i want performance too (so no stage 2 or 3 exhausts). Help this noob out!

Stop trying to mimic a exhaust noise of another's car. Is your car a S5, a m3, and/or AMG? Nope, I don't think so, if you want the noise so bad, just buy that car.

I'd recommend buying RV6 package with his new HFC PCD (coming soon). You're talking about 40-50whp gained from this package. (That's MINDBLOWING!)

Get a good recording of those cars and play it on your TL's sound system.

I would say buy a AMG, S5, or M5.
The engines are not even close to the same and... ugh just nevermind. A TL will sounds mostly like a TL!

If I had an M5, I would never make my car sound like that. That's a big negative. If I wanted a car to sound loud and mean, I'd get myself a nice old school muscle car.

If you're looking for a civil exhaust note while cruising and then something more aggressive when full throttle you should consider our XLR8 resonated exhaust. Our mufflers have built-in Purge Resonance Technology to reduce drone while cruising but still maintain a throaty exhaust note when WOT. Here is a link to some more information:

Our catback exhaust made 10whp and 10wtq. Our j-pipe makes about 10-15whp and 15-20 wtq. Some vehicles in the lower RPM's made significantly more torque too.
