You're welcome J!
No harm taken, NvrDwn......the ZO6/ZO7 package IS at $100,000. It looks so "track". I like my Z51 version better, but that's personal taste. Just wait until the Carbon Fiber side skirts and front splitter go on in a few weeks!

Hey boys--I thought my ears were getting warm.
Here's the story......Yes, Anil and I went to get the C7 Premier Edition car. When I brought it home, my wife didn't like it. But....the fact is, she already had encouraged me to place a deposit AND and order for the Torch Red C7 Z51---WHICH I DID!
I gave back the Premier Edition because I wanted a happy family and wife. I knew my Red Corvette was already on order-I got that. To be honest, I jumped on the Premier Edition because of it's exclusivity (only 500 made). The Laguna Blue was NEVER on my radar for a color choice. To be perfectly honest, I love the Torch Red much better than the Laguna Blue.
I was fortunate that the Stingray I now own was turned down by the people who originally ordered it. The dealership offered it to me and I jumped on it. My wife LOVES it!
The ZO6 is nice-I could upgrade but really don't want to. I like what I've got and I'm sticking with it.
Truth be know-I could write a check for the entire price of the car.....ZO6 and/or C7. That's not an issue whatsoever. The ZO6 is right at $100,000....
At some point in time in your life, you must learn to be happy with what you've got. I looked at the Porsche Cayman S, the F-Type Jaguar. The Stingray is the best option on the market right now. If you like at the European styling, the top-rated interior and all the other amenities, this car matches up better than any Porsche, Jag, Maserati on the market!
The fact that the price is less than anything in it's class is just a bonus.
Now, back to Anil's car and thread.......

We got about 14" of snow in the past 2 day. I was out yesterday and plowed like 8-9 inches of snow. When I was about 70% done, my neighbor shows up in his Honda 4x4 ATV with a snow plow attached upfront and clears up the rest of the driveway in less than 5 minutes. He then hit up 12 other houses and cleared up their driveways. I felt like an idiot coming out early, I should have just done what I do best, procrastinate
This afternoon at about 3pm I came out dressed to tackle the driveway and saw we had another 4-5 inches of snow (I aint got time fo dat). The thought of just calling my neighbor did pop in my head, but I needed the workout, so started shoveling.
I was about halfway done when I saw my other neighbor, she was struggling with her driveway, so went over to help her out. Just when we were about done with hers, she mentioned something about having a snowblower. Her exact words were "but I dont know how to operate the snowblower". We took the snowblower out of the garage and I showed her how to work it
We got done with her driveway in the next couple minutes and then she wanted to help plow my driveway. She did great and we finished up mine....
....and she headed to another neighbors house to help out. I was about to go back inside but felt bad so we finished up another driveway. At that point, I was very tired and wanted to take some pix of my car in the snow and the sun was going down. After we got done, I helped her put the snowblower away and headed home all excited to take some pix in the snow. I forgot that my car isnt as good as John's and neither is my photography...
Also, this is my first time taking pix of the car in the snow with the camera. It was very difficult to get anything right as the weather was 8degs, fingers were freezing and I just could not get the exposure and focus right. I am not happy with the results but thought I share...

You should buy your own snow plower and mod it
Start with intake, and then redline tranny fluid
I like the second shot. I take snow pictures too but mine is not that clean

What the heck, don't
You don't need that, they are only fun in mountains 3k high, and of course a rental, so you could rock it and fly like I did
You know that story right?
Ok ok sleep, I sleep too
Just shoveled +1'

Not try to hijack but I figure someone here can verify a question. Is the speed limiter controlled by the dbw tb? Example: at 130mph 50% 135mph 30% keeping us at a steady 135mph.

^No idea, I try and keep it under 125mph these days
Anil, fantastic shots, man...seriously.
Love shot 2 and 4.
Best ones are the ones where sun is behind you, for sure...especially in snow, when the light is coming AT the camera it'll try and compensate the white balance which will totally wash everything out with snow as a backdrop. I'm not expert, but you'd need to have a little fun with LR to fix those.

Thank you Tyler ....i tried...
LOL...well the key is to keep it away from wet spots AND no the tailgate....gonna go in the garage and grab some pix for ya
from what I understand, its a combination of dbw AND fuel....the 04-06 (not sure of 06 but dead sure about 05) were limited to 151mph....the 07-08 and Type S are limited to 131 (or something under 135) mph....
I have done 137mph in my TL back when the teenage spirit was young in me....
Thank you sir....yeah, the last 2 pix, I just applied the 'night' filter/auto adjust in flickr itself...I usually tend to stay away from filters but this one brought the tire marks on the snow out and I liked it....but when I saw the pix on my phone they looked hideous....I think am gonna upload those 2 again and not worry about editing
I do need to play with LR. I have it installed but I havent played with it much.

Good pics, Anil!
J is right though, you mid as well be shooting in direct sunlight. The camera is adjusting for the bright sky and white snow, thus making your car much darker. It's a balancing battle. If you were to focus on the car, it should show up fine and your sky would be washed out with little to no color.
The only way around that is post or graduated filters.
John is lucky, WDP and snow don't clash contrast so it can take a well balanced exposure.
And aren't you just the friendly little neighbor.
I also approve of the color blue on your valve covers.

^^^LMAO...que? Kilometros o mph?
Anil, good man...yeah, look into maybe getting some filters. That's the ONLY way I can shoot in direct sunlight now.
My first set of filters were something like these...cheap but they still get the job done, in case you don't want to invest too much in it now.
LR isn't intimidating at all...I literally make ALL adjustments in the first pane on the top right. It's good stuff...IMPORT, then button to right of Library is DEVELOP...play with it, then you can literally have it linked to your Flicker and you click "publish now" and BAM, it'll be there.
