Its been raining here....I wanted to go get some pix yesterday but 1st it gets dark at 5PM AND started raining....
Hopefully it will dry out later today....
To be honest, I have been thinking of doing this mod since a WHILLLLEEEEE back....I know Jeremy had told me to "stay away from cutting your bumper up"....but I see new cars coming with this and I think it will be a great radiator cooling idea...
new Toyota Camry:
I have seen this on the infiniti's as well....
well, I dont want to hack up the bumper but I think this will help in warmer weather...

as much as I want to say do it... cutting bumper is a PITA .. even the sharksmouth grill... i realized I dont have steady hands nor very good at delicate work... my sharksmouth aint horrible.. closer to bad.. but you cant notice until you get up on it
once you cut your bumper the only way to go back is to buy a new bumper... that said.. cutting bumpers is fun but my car aint as pretty as yours

And hey...if any Toyota marketing reps are reading this, if you're going to make it look like your cars are flying down the road, you may want to have drivers in them. Unless this is a spin on the stuck throttle issues from a couple years ago?
EDIT: Damn, I just noticed it's a Euro Camry and the driver's sitting on the wrong side. Oh well, it still needs to be burned with fire.

Bring it over, we can cut it open and plastic weld and shape it so it doesnt look like it was cut

I am still thinking of just getting a good summer tire and tracking it the way it is....nothing better than putting her on the track the way she is on the streets....
you, Robert, Andy....I would be in a 500whp RWD TL
The weather has finally cleared up...the camera is charged....I have a location in mind....will try it out today....

brother I could but my intake temps are nice and low....
my coolant temps seem to be a tad bit higher....call me loco but I felt that after the transmission cooler was mounted on the radiator....
coolant rides at 202-212....198-204 on the highway (85-90 deg weather) and 202-212 in the city (again 85-90 deg weather)....
I want to lower that to be in the 195-202 range, so by about 5-10 degrees....yes I tried water wetter, next option was to run a higher psi rad cap...

^^^ hmm...makes sense....
and the stupid fog lights take up the corner spots....I have an idea for new fogs...once I do that, I might be able to just duct some air to the radiator...
I felt good last night....took the car for a spin, the dash read 54degs, the intake read 60 degs....when i came home the manifold was ice cold....during summer my manifold has started to get a little hot as well, need to insulate the intake....its a never ending story with the car haha....

Thanks Meko...its a great location but I was about 15-20 minutes late...it was getting dark and cold...i didnt like the pix since I had to edit the brightness and contrast on few of them....and I forgot my tripod
Thanks Ross....I have to say those are my fav as well
Thanks Ty....yezzir I am....I felt this set should have come out a lot better but it was getting dark and I didnt have my tripod....maybe I will visit the location with Steven and his "other car"
Here is a pic with the twins...they came over for a week....they were solely responsible for putting 2 Dora stickers on my car when we were visiting them in Dallas...and I am solely responsible for not yet taking them off....love them and the stickers

thats the rich side (thats what I call it) LOL...my subdivision is called Summerwood and the rich side is called Summerwood Estates...
the neighbors/owners are super nice though...i know this one chic from the rich side was over for the wifey's baby shower and she said lets switch homes () and I was like only if we can switch cars as well (they have a boosted C6 vette, E55 AMG, Porsche Cayenne GTS and an Escalde) ...her hubby is a real car guy....i might see if he wants to get his rides out for some pix

Meeks, took this screeshot just for you....this is kinda of fun I have...
on the highway, I am usually doing 75-80mph (speed limit here is around 70 for most part of the highway)....but the fun is on the exits, taking them cloverleaves at 60mph LOL....i think I could have gotten to .7g if the car in front of me didnt slow down dramatically....
still not bad for no tire squeal and on all season tires
