yeah, I havent had experience with fresh paint...but from what I understand is you have to wait a little bit before any kind of stuff, even including buffing it/sealing it...

gotta do what you gotta do I guess hah

I have tried multiple mounting spots for the action cam and I am getting a lot of wind and road noise...am trying to see if I can make the mic not as sensitive...either way, am going to try a lot more mounting points and will try to get a nice and clear video

...in the interim, here are some pics...went to the Sprint campus and into the garage I used to park when I worked there...

Before I end the post, a mega mega thanks to Meko!

Last year when he was here for the meet, he gave me the interior LED's for free...a really really nice gesture....When I was modding my headlights, I bought the Osram CBI bulbs from him...learning from my mistakes, I didnt give him my address until I got a paypal address from him LOLOL...I love you buddy...

Also, cant end this post with a huge huge thanks to Steven as well...I got the Diode dynamics LED's for a stinking good deal because of him....if I had to buy em myself, I would have been out of 250-300 bucks!

Funny, I took garage pics yesterday too.
Looking good, man...

Yeah, yellow lights are hard to adjust for...adding warmth helps a bit.

yezzir...got that a couple years back...absolutely love it...has a nice finish and weave....I am thinking of some mods to the front bumper, if I get those done, I will be getting it repainted and might as well just get the front bumper and hood clear coated heavy ORRR will put a protective 3M film on em...havent decided yet...

the interior bulbs are as easy as they get...all you need is a tiny flat head screw driver

What about mixing some nbp in with the clear for the hood? Nspec_ya4 did it and it turned out great.

If I had a CF hood on my car, would paint the outside parts up to the crease body color. Then do clear over CF center with a hint of color/sparkle to it.

Your hood design is a little different though and car is different color.

I know what you mean...but we do have a little crease on the sides where the fenders are...might not be a bad idea...

will definitely have to think about it

Powerslot...back in the day tirerack and all carried them...not sure if they "merged" with stoptech now...

these are the newer cyro treated ones...am not sure if these were available when I bought mine...

I got all rotors + pads (HAWK HPS) + Tein Basics from ATLP (back when they were managing inventory) and if I remember right, its was right at 1000 bucks shipped to my door...

Anil! Quick question buddy.. I can get a good deal on brand new 3.7 mani and 3.7 TB already bored out by maxbore, the deal comes with ALL hardware (bolts, gaskets) BUT my question is do I need port matched intake runners for this conversion? Also will there be any issues with the car afterwards that you know of like bucking, strange idling etc.. There is no flashpro available for my 06 AT

There aren't any surging or bucking issues with the auto, and the handful of people that had issues with the 3.7 conversion that were auto actually had motor mount issues. Keep in mind you can go deeper and change out the the throttle body position sensor (TPS) on the 3.7 to your regular 3.2 one. I believe there was a thread somewhere here on doing it.

You don't need port-matched runners, plenty of people have run the 3.7 conversion without any PnP work whatsoever, but its definitely beneficial, and in the end, the 3.7 mani conversion is already kind of an extreme (in the expensive sense) in the price to HP gains ratio, so most people just say screw it and go the step further for PnP work. I think PnP runners would definitely be worthwhile, and they shouldn't be too expensive to get done locally too. It's pretty minor as far as PnP work goes.

^ theres literally zero places in my area that do PNP work. lol, if I can find a set on the BM ill go for it but as for now i think Im going to pull the trigger on the 3.7 mani and bored out 3.7 TB I'm getting a good deal so I think its worth it for me and I can get it all installed by my buddy for pennies.

Oh my, awesome recap, Anil!

2 things I think drastically helped your car, ditching the eyelids and getting some tire lettering, that looks SICK with the Volks and that tire size. Well done, man!

Ship em to a shop in Toronto to get gasket matched. They won't be too expensive. You could even buy a separate set of runners to do it on, or do it yourself - PnP the runners I think is pretty easy compared to the IM
