Stage 3 exhaust already installed, can I still upgrade to full exhaust system?

I have been saving up for some mods, and I'm thinking I will go with an exhaust system first.

I already have a dynomax resonator, and 2.25" straight pipe where my mid muffler should be (STAGE 3)

My question is, if I install an ATLP or XLR8 (both quad) would I experience rasp or any negative effects from having the stage 3 done?

I have a 2007 NBP TL non navi

**Also please don't grill me over this but does anyone have any suggestion for wheels & tires?? I've been searching forever but havent seen anything I really want to spend 1-2K on. I just want something that would look nice with NBP.

Thanks a lot! hope to hear from you guys soon.

Get the atlp if you want quiet. You can upgrade your exhaust everyday of your life if you have the time and money for it.

Yes

Both of those systems are called "catbacks", which means they bolt on from the catalytic convertor, alllll the way back to the exhaust tips. Either exhaust system would completely replace all mods you have done.

As far as rims go, look on ebay for XXR's. They have a bunch of different styles, and they're pretty affordable. I got mine for 565 shipped, with lug nuts and hub rings included.

+1

You can sell your OEM exhaust in the Black Market or save it for the future in case you need to convert it back to stock to re-sell or whatever reason. Also, just in case you didn't know, you would need either a TL-S bumper or rear A-spec kit to fit the XLR8 or ATLP quads. Happy modding!

Does anybody look underneath their car before they post? How does modding a catback then removing it for a new catback alter the sound of the new catback?
