I considered GC's but opted for something better. Just looking at the design caused me to go a different route. Lots of people run them with no issues... I just didn't want them.

Koni's don't go very low at all... even worse than Teins.

You are very right, however I am not looking for a big drop. I just want to remove some wheel space. TEINs are an alternative, however I can't get my hand on a good pair locally. It is a wait and see because it isn't a priority right now.

ANYWAYS....

Here is something for everyone:

The Ultimate RV6 Package so far:

I don't know when I will do the install, I will try to do it tomorrow night

Tein SS coilovers can be found for ~$1000 brand new. Not a bad price at all if you ask me.

From what I here the pre-cats are one of the best mods for this car (aside from F/I)

Richie rocks, I placed this order and within an hour I had a tracking no. for FedEx.

The R v6 v3 is a piece of art. Fit and finish is perfect. I put this on my 08 TL-s with a stage 2 exhaust. My car revs quick already but this mod really enhanced the revs, I am really impressed. I have tons of low end and mid torque. Now my 2nd and 3rd gear pulls just as hard as 1st.

I was worried about rasp and the exhaust being to loud, but not a problem. After 5 miles of driving the rasp is completley gone. The exhaust sound is nice with a mean growl above 3g. I couldn't be happier with this product or the service behind it. You will not be sorry if you get this pipe. Thanks again Richie.

Ready to pull trigger on Richies JPipe..still need to find out a few things. I have a 07 TL-S AT and already installed the AEM V2 CAI..anyone have a ballpark guess on a HP gain with BOTH the V2 and the RV6 V3 installed???

Also...I live in Delaware..(prolly the ONLY AZ member here from DE!!) anyone have a clue for DE if the 3rd cat delete on the V3 would be an issue for State Inspection?? (i'm not sure if they do a visual or not!?
Thanks!!

Haha absolutely....luckily I already have the a-spec kit so that's money I can put elsewhere (i.e. RV6 V3 J-pipe)

Bastards...I said when I purchased my Type S "I will not mod this car...I will not mod this car". Now look what you've made me do!

Purchased 1...I like the idea of the car having a nice round horsepower #...286 was too arbitrary for me.

My guess would be 15-20WHP over stock. No idea about emissions you can always swap back to stock in ~20mins.

I am doing exactly what you did, but backwards. I installed the Jpipe, now im waiting on my aem v2 to arrive.

I read that the intake gives you virtually nothing but sound...so like 3-5hp

For the pipe, it was dyno'd about 15hp, which after installing this seems a bit exaggerated. The J-pipe def makes your car sound more aggressive and makes you feel all nice inside

About the emissions, I heard the PCD's mess with the emissions, but the 3rd cat really has no effect. Maybe only if they look under the car and inspect, which is highly doubtful, plus they have no idea what they are looking for. I would not worry, keep your old parts just incase.

Had this on for a couple of days and must say, the car feels lighter, and accelerates quicker, and the sound is raspy, which is sad because I miss the low-tone growls that my TL used to give but perhaps the V2's will do for now, maybe might grab Richies HFCs

dam now i have to buy one of these. After Looking at the stock jpipe, compared to this one. Its a no brainer. Good thing im still waiting on a $2,100 tax return and will have to hold off on black roof. So in two weeks i will have suspension and Jpipe, still contemplating on rotors.

No problem with emissions. You only need front cats not the 3rd.

Sorry no sponsorships for a while. We are still having trouble keeping products in stock. Right now we are making large investments in equipment so that we can speed up the R&D process.

i just installed this j pipe on my 07 tl-s automatic today, and all i can say is that this is the best bolt on that ive bought for any car ive owned ! my car definately pulls alot harder now, i love it. ive heard the computer might take a few days to adjust to the new pipe, im not sure if this is true , but hopefully it will be even quicker yet tomorrow or the day after, lol! i i just wanna give a quick thanks to richie on an awesome product and excellent service, this pipe arrived at my house in no time and it installed with ease. anyway, if your thinking about buying a j pipe, you cant go wrong with this one.

The cat deletes bolt up to the stock j pipe right?
