install mine today... took me 20mins with air tools. it looks like the previous owner broke three of the studs on the cats and used nuts and bolts on there so i just reused them FTL.

I had the same thing happen 2 weeks ago, order some new spark plugs for my S/C and they were held in customs for over a week, when I paid for 3-5days Express with USPS so more like 2-1/2 weeks.

How come your waiting till spring to install them? My Comptech exhaust + J-Pipe going on at same time.

I pulled the trigger on the J-Pipe too, looks like a few Canadians jumped on the deal. Has anyone installed it yet, does it require trimming the plastic shield near the J-pipe?

Thanks Richie, waiting for mine to show up now... see if customs holds it up?

i just installed mine a few days ago, and i cut the plastic shield just a little bit. install the jpipe first, and then cut. just slightly trace around the jpipe and use some painters/masking tape to make a straight line cut, then cut on that line of tape.

you really don't have to cut off very much. maybe 1" or tiny bit more and that's only for a small portion, maybe 7" or so total length. no big deal. and it's real easy to cut with an exacto knife. good luck!

wow, i just went barbarian style and cut the plastic so that it would not touch the jpipe....

but props for being nice and neat.

Figured I might looks tight in the pics and RV6 show the plastic trimmed. Buddy of mine installed on Type-S I helped trim the plastic wasn't sure if v3 was the same thing now I know it is thanks.

Well I figure I don't need anymore hp for the winter since I won't be going anywhere anyway. This way, the jpipe won't see an extra winter.

I wouldn't worry too much it the price to pay for cheap duty and brokerage charges.

Just for reference.
