If only common sence was applied to forums more. O well what can you do. Great first mod for sure. Thats what I was thinking before I even jumped on acurazine. Many Options to choose from so thats nice as well... I Like the long tube design though so thats what why I went rv6.

It varies on supply, I am thinking 4-6 weeks.
24 months from defects. I have never had a V3 come back, but if you have issues I am sure we can work something out past 24 months.

^he'll supply you new gaskets. YES you need them.
and your OEM jpipe/exhaust does have a gasket in between them. and if it doesn't, it should.

The oem jpipe uses donuts gaskets. The V3 jpipes includes graphite gaskets for the connections between jpipe to precat and jpipe to exhaust. It also includes nuts for the precat studs and nuts and bolts for the jpipe to exhaust connection. Yes you will need everything for it to function properly.

^^^ Fact!
06' TL M/T
001 & 002 J32A3 Stock (in-box K&N) BASE RUN / 3th & 4th gear pull.
003 & 004 after RV6 V3 J-Pipe / 3th & 4th gear pull.
There is about 16whp close to 6000rpm and maybe 14-15wtq almost all the way from 3000 to 4000rpm.

Beautiful piece of equipment you have there. I have a couple of questions if you don't mind about this J-pipe. Note: My '04 manual TL is still bone stock.
- Is the ground clearance the same as stock?
- What kind of HP/TQ numbers can one expect over stock?
- What about cabin noise with the main cat removed?

^1. Several members with it are dropped 2.5" with no problems with scraping (unless you hit a large bump or pot hole)
2. You're looking at a 13-15WHP/12TQ gain from just the V3 J-pipe.
3. Cabin noise is minimal. Almost like the mid-muffler delete in terms of noise. You don't hear it until you gun it.
You should also expect a slight increase in MPGs, may not be as noticeable until you get a catback and PCD.

SouthernBoy: take a look few posts above to know the answer to your second question, we got the same platform
My impression is that the sound is amazing.
I love the exhaust tone coming from under the car btw 3K-4K....but in terms of decibels is a little bit more than stock (my wife did not realize it ).
Clearence is far enough, no instalation issues and perfect fitment.
Also like TheChamp531 states, now I can see an extra stable mile/gal on the trip computer.

TheChamp531 and Gabriel06TL;
Thanks gentlemen. I was mostly concerned about any added unwanted noise such as droning around the 2000-2500 RPM range or cracking when the throttle is nailed. I don't want to take away from the car's persona since I like the fact that it plays two rolls. And I also did not want something hanging down below the bottom for both visual and practical reasons... as in scraping when going entering/exiting a driveway which has an apron with a bit of a rise.
The HP and TQ numbers look good. Also, what about emissions for those states which require emissions testing? All they do now is to hook up to the ECU port under the dash and look for any codes which indicate an emissions failure. I know the main cat does not have a sensor downstream of it so I should think its removal would not be a bid deal. Unless the undercarriage is inspected.
Anyway, I have been giving some thought for the past few months of getting a new G37s, in manual of course, and if that happens I won't be making any mods to my TL. If not, then I very well might get this J-pipe. First I think I will get with a state inspection center and ask about cat removal to see what they say.
Thanks again for the help.
