RV6 V2 True Dual Exhaust for '04-'08 TL Type-S Quads Batch 2 Collecting deposits
#1363
I'm waiting on the type s rear to see what's what...I really want to see what he comes up with and he's supposedly getting a 3D image thingy to make something special for the base guys.
I don't hate the smaller tips, they do fit the opening very well.
If I dont like what he comes up with, I will likely look into type s rear and those 4" Fizzy status tips welded on.

I know you're mocking me by asking this question. You have too much time on your hands. Over 33,000 post in 3 years and 3 months... come on son. I can appreciate when people contribute to the forum but you have a comment for everyone. Stop touching yourself and get a life. Too many people on here put up with your crap.

Whats the big deal if people want an update? Some people are anxious and just want to know so they dont get there hopes up. I didnt see anywhere on Richies website where it said "please dont ask for an update". Am i missing something?

No, YOU are not helping anyone by critiquing everything everyone says! So what if people want to ask if they will be ready on time or want an update. Why the fuck does it bother you? Everyone has a right to ask these questions if they please! If you don't like it go somewhere else! We all put our deposits just like u did. So what makes u so special to think you can give us all shit for asking a question? As the other member stated....33k posts? C'mon son get a life

So I've been thinking about putting my stock Type-S tips on this system. I am very drawn to that OEM Type-S look with how they sit flush with the bumper. What do you guys think?

True that. But for me it's a very small part. My priorities are 45% sound, 45% performance, 1% bragging, and 9% looks. It's hard to tell from the picture how large those tips are and I also feel bad because I would be doing Rich a disservice if I took his logo off lol. We'll see, I might fall in love with them and eat my words! I'm already in love with the sound this makes.
If I was all about looks, I would just go to Delgado's or Velasquez' down the road and get some tips installed for $100.

It seems we've all found perfection through our own, different, means and ended up (will end up...) with the same product. If meeting the various, differently stacked priorities of customers with the same product isn't a statement on Rich's innovation, I don't know what is.

Jeremy...i wouldnt touch the exhaust if I were you....you got them for a good deal and they look good on the car...if Richie comes out with better looking tips for the base and you want to swap the exhaust by selling your and buying a "newer" one, I would say that will the only way to go about it...
I would not change the tips/muffler-tip combination....
on a different note
I thought I needed to relax a lot more LOL

Quick update guys. We have 7 systems fully welded and hope to have 12 next week. After welding there is still polishing and final fitment on the car. I still don't have final shipment dates. I will keep everyone updated with what I know. Just hang in there a little longer.

^^^we are there, everyone, if you have to pee or shit, do it now before we get back on the road.
Anil, I disagree, I would absolutely one billion percent NOT be willing to take the hit on cost between selling a used one and having to purchase and wait for now. I'll either be happy with what I have, see if I work with Rich for the prototype and fitment and have it welded in, or come up with my own thing and bastardize my poor exhaust.

but please dont bastardize it...you may be lucky and make it look better, but still dont mess with the exhaust....sounds great and looks great....
...is what i was trying to tell you in the above post....else i might have to come down and give you the "flip-flop" treatment we spoke off

Anil, trust me, butchering isn't my first pick!
a totally custom beefed up tip that embraces the oem looking tip that fits the opening is really what I'd like. I appreciate the opinion...I do agree, I think the dual tips look great. I'd like to help Rich come up with a tip that EVERYONE with a base opening would absolutely hands down flock to.
