Looks dope. When is group buy over? Can I have the link (sorry if its already posted, i have add and can't read that long). Anyone have a good suggestion for an exhaust to compliment this j-pipe? HKS vs. CT vs. GReddy vs. Flowmaster (lol?), not looking to highjack the thread, just good experiences

I know this has been beaten to death but as soon as I see the dyno you can have my money. I'm really tempted to preorder already would just love some data
Also what's the difference between the racing pipe and the test pipe?
will the entire system make my car sound ricey??? LOL I'm jk. Ignore these last questions.

I think they are out of stock 6 months out of the years. After this 50 I will order more ASAP, I can only afford to get 50 made at a time.

WEAKSAUCE !!!
GatDammit
I have the same problem as you but have no fear there are some shops around still with the right connections and the right amt of $$$ don't even have to worry about it
I too want to feel the power of the pre-cat deletes + testpipe but my gf doesn't want an smelly car
Is there a version 2 of the Pre-Cats with the thicker pipe Richie??

Richie's J-Pipe HP Gain Validation
Richie, I think it is fair to say a lot of us are sitting on the sidelines waiting for concrete evidence of any performance gains with your J-Pipe. I am sure you will do your due diligence by validating the J-Pipe with the appropriate number of dyno pulls and control the external variables to the best of your ability.
It would be good if you could authenticate your findings in a creative manner in a way that others have not. This would lend to your credability and few challenges... regardless of what the gains turn out to be.
I am most likely in, even if you scientifcally prove (and you Richie have the skillset and training to do this; unlike others) a gain of only 5 HP.
Now go impress us and post the results.

Personally, I am happy with a net increase over stock of 5 HP. I realize some claims are a lot greater than that but I am very dubious about some claims.
I am looking for structured scientific validation. People can throw up dynos and claim anything. Richie has the ablility to leverage his scientific mind to gain an advantage over other vendors if he does things right. Go Richie!

The bolts on the test car were rusted. We took to long swapping jpipes and lost our time slot. We will try again soon.

Pictures
Does anyone have any pictures of the stock parts on the TL that these aftermarket replace? I understand the test pipe replaces the 3rd cat but the J-Pipe gives you what gain? Is the stock version crimped down. I noticed on my MDX that Honda crimped down this portion of the exhaust/down pipe. It appears for ground clearance.

Not sure my GF is graduating this week so I will be busy this weekend. I might have time to take a auto TL to the dyno this week, but it has exhaust.

Are you saying it has an aftermarket exhaust system? If so, be sure to note that. Thanks.

Despite this post flaunting noob, I must ask a few things.
What's a j-pipe do
What's the point of a pre-cat delete and does doing all this return a failed emissions test at inspection?
What I plan on doing is getting a J-pipe and a cat-back exhaust. One word taht is really throwing me off is 'delete'. Does this simply mean bypass or literally delete lmao. Thanks for anyone that will help.
