RV6 V2 J-Pipe Sneak Peak/Feeler

Hey guys, I just want to gauge interest for the new RV6 V2 J-Pipe. The ETA for the new jpipe, precat deletes and test pipes will be around 30-45 days; sooner if you prepay. Basically we took our existing proven design and optimized the merge for better flow, while maintaining ground clearance. We are hoping to have dyno results soon. As for the group buy pricing it will be kept at $360 shipped in the continental US with choice of test pipe or race pipe. The price will increase once the group buy is over.

- Full Stainless 304 Construction
- New hardware included (Gaskets, nuts and bolts)
- No cutting or welding Required
- Double lined hiss free flex pipe
- Fully TIG Welded
- 2.25" Primaries 2.5" Exit

Awesome. So that's why I couldn't post in the thread a moment ago...
Looks good.

So, is there anything that has changed on the pre-cat deletes? Design wise? Though I don't think you can since it's pretty much just a pipe haha. Oh and what Hongda said ^^^

You can pay here.
http://www.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=2720061
http://www.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=4235212

The race pipe is non resonated and the test pipe is resonated. I would say 95% of my customers get the resonated. It produces a cleaner sound with the same performance gains.

Haha you could always sell the old one and get the new one.

ANy plans on developing Hi-flow cats? Obviously, something better than the Eshift procats. I'd pay for that! Cali is a bitch for smog

I have thought about it, I am not sure how the cats would hold up to the heat. I definitely do not want a repeat of Eshift. I have a high flow metal substrate 3rd cat i never posted up.

^ Well I guess the question becomes is running your precat deletes with this hi flow third cat enough to pass smog? Do you know of anyone that has tried this setup? If it's passable then I am down! Well I might be down even if it's not.. hehehe

I am pretty sure it wont pass a visual inspection but I was able to pass here using that setup. We only have a OBDII port plug in here, I was in and out in 5 mins.

Innnnteresting. I wonder how much more stringent the smog test here is in California. Well, the visual inspection I won't have a problem with. I mean as long as I can throw my OEM 3rd cat back on, still running the precat deletes AND pass smog?!?! I will be so stoked!

Hey Richie, been waiting for your V2 coming out since I delayed getting the V1! If you're done or almost done, could you post videos of the sounds and/or dyno the gains if not different than V1? Will be paying soon

rich, i dont like the new design.

looks too much like the jpipe that is on the 2g tl. i dont think that will yield the same performance gains that the original had due to the bottleneck in the center. i liked how the old one flowed into the Y and routed the exhaust in the same direction apposed to turning it around.

pure speculation on my part though.

^ I disagree lets get a side by side, the merge is the same, they just join quicker...

Couldn't have said it any better and it shows in the picture also. Gosh the anxiety and wait of the pre-cat deletes
