RV6 Exhaust Installed (videos)

Wish I had a better camera to take these but it's all I have.

Mods are: AEM v2, RV6 jpipe, Rv6 TD Base Exhaust

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dh7Vh3BL4nk

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtaKW-y8lqg

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyjLXNZpz90

Biggest concern was the base tips being small, but pretty happy overall

^ Use your phone,i know your BB can view vids on youtube.

Sounds nice and not too loud with a little bit of rumble but like you said the tips are kinda small, but i understand the base bumpers wont allow for bigger ones.

No wifi....

I also agree on the tips.
I want to keep my base tips, but RV6 wont sell me the piping.

That sucks bro, well you're getting off soon anyway..

Yeah you should keep your stock tips if you ever get your exhaust done, lets hope Richie changes his mind and sells you the piping.

I'd just hack off the tips on this and weld on the base tips..

If that's even possible with this exhaust...

x2.

RV6 needs to sell just the piping....
I would buy it in a heart beat, as I'm not fond of the tips that he chose.

Richie, are you listening?

I'll see whats left over after all the preorders are sold. They are the priority.

I also want tips that resemble the base tips. It would be nice if they were a little larger then the OEM base so they could fill out the bumper more, or better yet, be flush with the rear bumper like the tips on the new LS.

I put together a custom Magnaflow System a year or so ago and cut off my base tips, grinded the hole out bigger and welded them back onto the new mufflers nice and flush like with the bumper!! It looks great. The round tips are just way too common! I had suggested early on to do a tip similar to the stock ones or the ATLP Base tips to be unique but it obviously did not happen .... Sad Face

not a fan of the tips quads only look right with the right size diameter tips between 3.4" to 4" not 2.5"

otherwise cool deal

IMO if I was spending that much for the exhaust I'd get the TypeS ASpec and get the bigQuads because those small ones just look kinda unaggressive IMO..sounds nice though!

Wow that combination sounds amazing!
Thanks for the first videos on these new exhauts Slooo97CL!

I sure hope that these do not turn into a limited production run because there will probably be a lot of interest in these once similar video's start getting posted.

I'm sure you'll be receiving a lot of PM's about a second run on these.
Especially if you can mimic what ATLP did for their Base exhaust version and also have the tips in Black Chrome.
That would probably outsell the Quad versions as not everyone wants to do a Type-S Aspec Rear Bumper conversion.

I can guarantee if so I'll take that and a J-Pipe immediately as the smaller quad tips appear too muted for an exhaust of this tone.
I am sure others here would be interested as well.

You put all this time and effort into making this True Dual Exhaust catered for the TL community so hopefully you will do a second run on these.

Plus I'm sure it would generate a sizable revenue increase for yourself given all the initial time/capital invested...

I don't understand anyone that actually likes the base tips. IMO they are very ugly. Do what you like though.

Don't be brainwashed by type S tips, these looks proportional to me. If you saw me cruising on the road I bet you would think differently.

Yeah but, that's more money. Trust me I was about to pull the trigger and do it, but then I realized it wasn't that important. Plus I already have the base A-spec kit in my garage.

I don't think the tips look too small at all (thats what she said). They look alot smaller in pics then they do in person. Great product Richie, the guy installing it was loving the quality. Thanks Again
