Replacing AEM filters
couple months ago i put in a AEM cold air intake on my 2006 acura TL, and i believe its time for me to do a replacement on the filter. I am not 100% sure which size to get as a replacement, i was looking at part # 21-2110DK

i just wanted to check if this was the right one before spending $50. I know we can just wash it and re use, but i like to have one on hand just incase something happens. And also, is there a link or something to show me how to change hte filter off the TL? the spot that its located seems rather rough to get to....

You know the plastic in the wheel well? There's 2-3 of the pins you need to remove to get the wheel well to bend. You actually don't need to remove your wheel. Just have the steering wheel turned fully locked to the right, and that will be enough room to remove the filter. A flathead screwdriver is all you'll need to remove the clamp to get the filter off of the intake piping.

NOTE: AEM recommends that AEM DRYFLOW filter elements be serviced with AEM's DRYFLOW Filter Cleaning System at least every 50,000 miles or 30 months (whichever comes first) to maintain optimum performance. For off-road and high performance street applications, filters should be serviced every 25,000 miles or 15 months (whichever comes first). If you live in a region with extremely fine dust (arid or desert climates, for example) follow the recommended schedule for off-road and high-performance vehicles. Always inspect your filter element whenever you change your oil.
