Rasp with RV6 V3 J-pipe and MM delete?
Hello all,
I know this has been asked before but I'm on the fence like crazy about whether or not to order this J-pipe. I already have the mid muffler delete (love how I can just barely notice a sound change when accelerating and none at idle). I just need some user experiences on whether or not this will change my exhaust tone at idle and/or give me rasp when accelerating....
Thank you in advance for your advice!

I had rv6 j pipe with MM delete and no rasp, soon as i installed high flow cats, i get this zing (rasp) noise around 3-4k rpms.

^^^ I know Rockstar had rasp with the V3 jpipe....I think he had the stage 2/3 exhaust (i dont remember) and he was complaining about the rasp....
I would stray away from any stages exhaust as they are all fart and no poop....
as Vlad said, deleting a cat without adding a resonator will cause rasp and drone....so if you plan on getting some high flow cats and and exhaust, your car will sound good

Get the Jpipe! It will not make the raspy noise but like others have said, deleting the MM will. The pre-cat deletes will also make it raspy. A bigger resonator (22" or 30") will help deepen the sound. Ditch the stage exhaust and get a real cat-back..

I have the setup in question. The sound you hear with the mid-muffler delete works the same with the j-pipe added to it. the only difference is with the j-pipe installed, at around 3.2k rpms the exhaust becomes slightly higher pitched.
It does not sound bad or raspy (at least not to me), its nice an peppy but not by any means loud.
