quick questions about upgrading exhaust system

lol its early in the morning waiting for co worker to pick me up, tried many ways to enter it in search...im a noob at searching lol but question is, if i were to get the j-pipe would it cause me to fail emissions?

99% not. The jpipe is not an emission component. It will not cause you to fail an emission test. However, I can not speak for Califorina. Calf does have much more strict inspection.

That 1% possibility is reserved for a wacko inspector. The hyper inspector could notice your "new shiny pretty pipe" and jump to the wrong conclusion that your emission have been "tampered" with.

As mentioned there are no emissions components in the j-pipe. It is a piece of pipe. Our pipe (XLR8 J-pipe) just makes the exhaust flow better; it doesn't alter emissions.

hearing that just makes me love FL so much more! No emissions down here, and i'm sure as hell that i'd fail, LOL!
