Question.

anybody have problem with the aem v2 or aem intake when driving in the rain? Anybody from east coast have a cai intake or v2 intake. i have the regular and bout to change it to v2. my friend was complaining about it rain water come into engine or is that possible when driving in rain?

I would only worry about hydro locking the engine if you are going thru puddles 1 1/2-2 feet deep or more. I don't think one intake will expose you more to this than another unless the intake goes very low in the bumper and the car is also very low.

yea i drive in rain storms all of the time and hit a couple of puddles just dont go in anything that you think will reach your fog light's or lower bumper lol then u might get in trouble but its totally safe bro i been using for a while, no problems at all!!

exactly.

u need to COMPLETELY submerge the filter to hydro-lock. OR floor it while going through a puddle
