To put a 3.5L Type S engine (Automatic) into a 2004 TL (Automatic)

or were there changes in the Type S to support the new motor?

 

Just sell your tl and buy a type s, much more efficient. and it will be more of a solid runner.

 

Selling mine is making me regret selling mine and my engine has 110,000 miles on it so if id do anything itd just be swapping the engine out of a totaled TL that i could find someone who doesnt need it anymore though im curious if the 3.5L had any issues installing into an 04.
