Guys stop filling this thread full of bull*shit negative suggestions. If the work is done right this mod gives gains if proper intake an exhaust mods are done. I'm running Stg1 tuned 09+ wrx's off the road from a 40 roll, and I'm a 5at. Youtube.com/gerzand

Cucu messaged me on facebook a few weeks ago because he was going to the track the next day but it got postponed for some personal issues. I`ll ask him again, but no guarantees. Just do the work and u won't have to depend on other people because ur too pussed out to spend a few bucks to find out. /rant

on his youtube video, he posted a comment that he runs a 13.8 1/4 mile time. 13.3 i can't see happening unless he gets up to 300whp with the "tl diet"

13.3?! Thanks for the compliment Eric, but hell no! In a AWD or RWD maybe. I would be lucky to get less than 2.4 for reaction time; have to practice on my launches. I'm pretty sure I can get just under 14 though. One of these days I will make it to a 1/4 track; there isn't any close by.

bro i think your underestimating your car. i was reading on the qtr mile compilation page and there are acuras on there with less mods than you have and they are running mid 13's all motor

Funny you mention one of those. I was able to pull half a car on a coupe from 60; must have been an auto....

He would have smoked me from a dead stop though.

yeah they have a paddle shift auto and a steptronic auto. if it was the coupe 335i it has a twin turbo. sick car. nice job on pulling away from him. go to the track, i am so interested in what your car does in the 1/4 mile. it will give me motivation to do the pnp mods.

I'll need the extra fuel
Andy I was thinking if I need to upgrade my injectors; 1. got a couple of "running lean" check engine codes and 2. because I have over 120k miles on the stockies.

yo they are easy to remove. Same thing happened to me. eithr home depot screw extracter for like 10 bucks or depending where they broke, other things.

Take a pic let me see. no need for a new IM cuz of that. when i broke mine a little tab stayed and i thought it was going to be a bitch to remove. i bought the screw extractors and when i went to use it, i literally with my finger just spun the tab of the bolt to remove it like if i had a screwdriver on it. the head breaks off easy and before any real pressure goes into the threaded part of the IM.

Anytime. hopefully everything works out. depending on how the screw broke, you could even just take a small flathead and twist the broke bolt off. take pics when you can even if would a phone lol

Dude im on AZ atleast 5 hours a day. i read the whole TL Diet thread today and just had to get off. at work "training" this week so ima be on alot myself lol. Cant do this shit everyday, i wouldn't get work done at all.

Wow, you feel low end loss. i thought everyone's thing on the pnp mani was gain on the whole curve. i know they said top end really gained. The runners should help with that. Dyno it now before the exhaust and runners so you could it compare to those mods.

holy crap, I didnt realize you were doing all this work and still on a stock exhaust! You will feel it open up for sure, hehe. Cant wait to hear the expression in your voice when you get it all done dude!

BTW, your RDX spacer has been uninstalled this whole time too, right? Otherwise that would be hurting you even worse, even currently.

dont know for you man but when they say you have go do the training for this or take a CBL....am the happiest punk alive LOL....

well am on stock exhaust and got the RDX spacer plus i have the butterfly removed from the intake mani....

for the dyno i was thinking of all the stuff am gonna have and then what i dont want....example

dyno1 (day1): pnp mani without butterfly, intake mods, pnp runners, rv6 pcd, full exhaust, rdx spacer installed
dyno2 (day2): everything same but NO rdx spacer
dyno3 (day3): NO rdx spacer and butterfly installed
dyno4 (day4): rdx spacer installed and butterfly installed

so that i know what curve looks the best and hold onto those....again the ECU will be reset everyday.....and will make sure i dyno at the same climatic conditions and all the jazz....

but this will be a bit since i just added a new member to the family.....the sexy TL gets to sleep next to a CBR600rr....niceness

i'll see. im completely bolted up with Type S heads and exhaust. Torque for days, low-end thru top-end across all gears feels crazy. im waiting for a cool day to dyno. I dyno'ed last week @ 94F and without cooling my engine to see my low low numers and i was still happy with it. i'll put them out once i get my high numbers
