Talking The "Parts" in "Parts & Performance"-renamed "Performance Parts & Modifications"

The intention of this forum is to discuss performance oriented issues and topics, and the parts which affect said performance. This means only performance parts should be posted in this forum.

It was never intended to be a receptacle for all parts.

If you want to know the part number for a door handle, or you need to find some information on a part, or you want to discuss the various parts of the a-spec body kits, or you want to ask a question about tint, or you are interested in carbon fiber engine shrouds, or any of the many other threads that have been started here when they shouldn't have been, please post your thread in one of the other appropriate subforums or the main 3G forum.

We have been trying to come up with another title that would be more effective in conveying this principle, but so far have not been successful. Intelligent suggestions would be most welcome.

Road rage's suggestions are performanced based. Shouldn't they go here?
(ie magnetic drain plugs) Oil is critical to what is going on inside the engine.

Both sound good. I'll hope for a couple of more suggestions, and if not I'll get with Astroboy and see what he thinks.

Rename "Parts & Performances" to "Performance Parts", then add new subforum named "Styling Parts" or ..something else.

yes this needs to performance only. and anything that has to do with looks such at tint and body kits should not be in this topic it needs to be in a cosmetic topic cause it has nothing to do with performance (unless you want to talk about down force and aerodynamics).

I agree, we dont need another sub forum. I think eliminating the word Parts is key to this.

The s2000 board calls it "under the hood".
Then there is a separate section for "forced induction".

Welcome to the board! Note...do a search. You will find all the answers to your questions here for sure. Start on a search on E-Shift ProCats. That will get you started in the right direction. You will also find many many many threads on performance parts in this section here...so just look around! Sorry...I cant answer all your questions here...but its a little off topic to the thread (hint) and I dont want to thread-jack this thread. PM me and I will help you out!! Again...welcome to the board...glad to have you!!

As you may have noticed, the forum title has been changed to Performance Parts & Modifications.

Thanks to all of you who offered suggestions and comments.
