P2R TBS and RV-6 Strut bar installed!!(pics)

I had the day off today and asked Bearcat to help me with a major detail on the car. He has an awesome detaling machine that he showed me how to use, three hours later and TL-S was looking sick!! Jim showed me the proper technique and even put a few coats of polish, wax and acrylic on himself. Thanks Jim!!! Jim and I my P2R TBS a few weeks back, but I hadn't got a chance to post some pics until now. We were gonna install my RV-6 strut bar that I got today, but hit a snag when we didn't have the proper 17mm deep socket to get the stock bolts off the strut tower. After the wash and wax I headed over to mmade22's house to do a super quick install of the strut bar and maybe have a beer or two. Thanks Jon!! Below are pics from the P2R install, Rv-6 install and sick ass shine job...enjoy!

Throttle body dissassembled

P2R TBS, thermal gaskets and required hardware

Installed and looking good

Bearcat making sure my lug nuts were nice and tight

RV-6 compared to stock bar, the candy red looks sick!

I have a red theme going under the hood and the strut bar, cai, tbs abd oil cap match perfectly

Installed

All shined up and looking pretty

Check out Alex on his Iron Horse chopper

Be careful...there is two more of those on the other side waiting to blow your eardrums out

I'm still feeling the stockies....for now

ATLP quad FTW!!! Who's that lurking in the background

I knew mmade22 had a deep 17mm socket. He said it took about 10 minutes - right tools FTW!!

Glad I could help with the shine.

You know what my crack is; hook me up baby, I need another shot.

PC/UDM from Exceldetail (in the Wash & Wax forum).

For us regular "weekend warriors", the Polishing Kit (Orange, White and Red Pads) is the way to go. Check out Wash & Wax if you have more questions.

Nice Jesse! The strut bar really completes the engine bay and is one of the easier mods to do. Now you can get that Tein setup with the edfc. You rolled up and man was that car clean. I told ya Bearcat would help you out.

Diggin the red theme.....it looks excellent, and your center caps are killer. Did you do that yourself or buy them like that?

I do have plans to lower it, but not for a little while. I don't really feel too much of a difference with the new bar, however I haven't taken any turns at high speed yet. Thanks for the comments!

Thanks Vinny...Future plans include TEIN SS set up, EDFC, engine bay paint and some light headlight mods. These won't become reality for a while however as they require two things that I need more of...time and money

I was not a fan of the red filled ACURA when I first got the car as well, but it grew on me man. i am now at the point where I have tried to customize the rest of the car around it.

When I bought the car the caps and front bumper where already filled in.
