Opinion on this Slotted/Drilled Package
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TL-Ty...Q5fAccessories
Just wondering if this will be any good with my TL-S. I am kind of weary of ebay products.
Got some Duralast Cmax last week, but need rotors. Should I have my stock rotors machined or just replace the whole thing with the above package and return the Cmax?
Thanks!

I can tell you that I have had Stop Tech bought in a race shop, and cross drilled bought via EBAY. In my opinion the both performed and lasted pretty much the same. Check out the sellers feedback very well, it will tell you a lot of the product he sells. Still, they warp easy under heavy and even mid breaking in rain or puddles. I went back to the OEM, although the cross drilles look very nice.

be careful with ebay rotors, esp the ones that say they've drilled in the rotors! It takes proper metallugry practices to ensure that the rotors are built well and many of the rotors on ebay are simply rotors that have had holes put in via a drill press
Stick with a reputable brand such as stoptech or rotora or Racing Brake. I chose racing brake since Mr. Heeltoe was running a special and I didn't hear of anyone having an issue with them. I've had mine for over 60K now and they still are amazing.
I went with slotted since slotted rotors are quite a bit more durable than cross-drilled and better for regular street driving and the occasional sporty driving. Cross-drilled are better if you care for every last single pound of rotational mass on the car and care of getting every last ounce of performance.

I went with Brembo cross-drilled rotors on the front and had them cryogenic treated before install.
I also agree with csmeance about sticking with reputable brands.
