is it possible to

1. remove the idiot light pressure switch (duh it's possible to remove..... but)

2. and somehow give it the signal there is enough pressure

3. and screw in aftermarket pressure sensor with same pitch & thread

4. and hook it up to a gauge of my choice?

U can't use that signal to operate aftermarket gauge,but u can add the aftermarket sensor on oil pressure switch on engine use T connection.

oh what i menat by 2 is, can i somehow fool the computer to think the oil pressure is ok

I'm sorry but the words "oil pressure" "tricking" and "ecu" shouldn't be combined in any level of sanity....

Do it right and use a T fitting or a filter plate and have the peace of mind of not being foolish
