Now That i've Got the Funds Available...

Just finished paying off the car, so I have a couple of mods I want to do. Most of it will probably end up being cosmetic, but I do wanna upgrade as far as performance goes. Thing is, my car has over 100,000 miles on it now. Is it even worth it to upgrade it, or will it even matter?

Perfect timing.

The Honda(Acura) motor will continue to produce like-new power to 200,000 miles and beyond. No worry there. Your motor is not worn-out.

With your "older" car, you will have more freedom to mod it without worry. When new, you have to worry about how that mod will affect your warranty. When new, you have to worry how that mod will affect the overall image of the car. "Will my friends/family give me a hardtime for doing this mod to such a nice, new car?". No worry now buddy. Have fun with it. Hell, you can even do a full-blown TL Diet.. whoop!!

No more payments, money to afford mods, no social restraints. HAVE FUN AND MOD AWAY LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW. Go out to the garage right now, and start doing this mod ---> Putting the TL on a diet (click here)

Congrats on "no more car payments"! I'm sure you've thought about this, but make sure you do the 105k mile maintenance before modding. Then your car will be in perfect shape.

Since you're local, feel free to pm me for ideas.

Inaccurate said it all. Go for it! Things like a Cold Air Intake and UR Pulley are popular and easy mods for performance-to start with.
