Just picked up last week pearl white ebony leather type-s. I dumped the oil and installed the intake mani spacer gasket and throttle body gasket kit. Bypassed the coolant. I also went with AEM cold air.Today replaced the rear resonator on exhaust with straight pipe.
I got the parts from josh at excellerate.I had done alot of reading on here before buying and such. I can definatly feel the difference in throttle response and the sound is good for the exhaust.
In 02' had a rsx type-s and a 02 tl-s both great cars,this 07' is sweet.

congratulations, sounds like you already have the modding bug. One possible mistake was replacing the factory fill oil prematurely. I did drain my factory fill shortly after I took delivery, but I also put an additive package into the oil to provide the high moly content that the factory fill provides and acura engineers want in there. good luck with your new toy Oh yeah Valvoline syn power oil additive was what I used

Agree. From what I've read, you don't want to get rid of the factory fill too soon. IIRC, it is designed to assist engine break in.

Also, glad you bought the right color - WDP FTW. Some of the guys driving NBP are a little insecure and make a LOT of noise to compensate for their poor taste - you'll get used to it.
