New to me J35z3
I have a 2008 Honda Accord Coupe 3.5L V6 (J35z3) with a 6 speed manual. Its my daily driver but i want a little more out of it. All the other forums I read pointed me towards this one. I'm contemplating forced induction but don't whether to run a turbo or supercharger. No real bolt on kits exist from what I can see and I'm having trouble finding much in the way of performance parts. I've read some stuff about swapping heads and/or cams with other J-series motors, but it looks like the biggest hurdle is my unusual exhaust manifold/header & catalytic converter. So, I'm here hoping to get some answers and help with adding some power.

OoO that Hot air ram intake is hurting performance!
the only real things you can do is upgrade the exhaust...ie; remove the cats and replace them with straight pipe.
other than that, an N/A engine is hard to extract power from...
you can do other tiny mods that only increase hp a little... but $$ to hp ratio; pretty much not worth it.
you can tune, but again...spend close to a G and only gain 8-9hp

From his facebook page:
"While it (AC) is lost by default, customers are able to implement Air Conditioning (AC) by installing an aftermarlet Masterflux Sierra electric AC compressor which runs about $370 for the unit. No changes are needed to the factory HVAC system other than having a specialized AC shop extend existing refrigerant lines to the new compressor location and wiring up 12v power & the oem trigger to it. Even if you choose not to implement AC, the vehicle will still retain cabin heat and all other functionality."
You've gots to pay to play!

I thought the placement, look and feel of the TL 6MT shifter is just perfect, and I'm not being biased since I have driven hundreds of manual cars. I love the v6 accord coupe and have considered it many times but the shifter/clutch keeps bothering me.

Double interesting. I was going to suggest changing the knob and getting a short shifter lol.
