New to car scene want to tune my TL type s

hi I just got a 07 TL type s auto with" manual" option and I was wondering if I can tune it or if it's even worth it to tune it. I don't know much about it and that's why I'm asking people that are experts to inform me if it's possible and if it is what do I have to buy and what is the best option. Please help!

Google is your friend. Familiarize yourself with the car before you ask such plain jane questions that will all be answered with simple searches. Trust me it will help you in the future. No spoon feeding, you're old enough to feed yourself.

Hondata Flash Pro is what you will want to research.

are you thinking that you can buy a device that hooks up to your obd II port and you'll gain more power? out of a non turbo SOHC engine with no mods... i think you might be getting your TL mixed up with a vw/audi/bmw or any modern car with a turbo 4/6cyl if you think you can get any gains from a tune on a stock car

even with a Jpipe and precats/hfpc you wont be getting much gains thats noticeable.. these engines arent friendly to mods, so unless you want to spend $2000+ for a downpipe, a pair of aftermarket cats, catback exchaust and intake just to gain like 30-40whp and probably even less tq (which is considered laughable gains in today's world) just stick to what the 3rd gen TL is actually good at... looking good and making sure you're on top of regular maintenance since these cars are getting old now

edit: i forgot to mention it costs $700 just for the flashpro ... so you know $2k on parts + another $700 for the tuning software + another couple hundred to get it professionally tuned

100 shot of nitrous 600 bucks fastest and easiest way to make HP. or you can be like me and spend 6k to build a turbo, then blow cylinder 5 for no reason. Get mad and sell the car and help the guy that bought the car build a motor. lol

I just got my 08 Auto TL type S tuned a couple days ago. Completely different car, I saw some of the power at times, but now the throttle response and how it moves is completely different. I do have a few bolt ons, if you could change a few things I would try that 1st. Intake, j pipe, hfcs or pcds. From what I’ve read, even if you’re stock it is very beneficial to use Flash pro.
