Need some info ASAP!!!

okay guys, im trying to figure out the exhaust size on my 2006 base model tl, I got the 2.5 and its tooo big, i have my resonator cut out already.

I believe the stock size is 2.25 if its the same as the 04 base

OEM is 2.25"
Most aftermarket catbacks are 2.5" (few are 3")
RV6 true dual is 2.25" dual pipes
