Exclamation Need Advise on DIY CAI

I need help. I have my bumper off right now. I have removed my intake resonator, but kept the lower snorkel. I have routed a 3" tube that bends like a CAI. The question is: Do I keep the bottom snorkel and have the tube run into that, or do I have it run to the fog light cutouts in the front bumper? I did this on my 05 Subaru, and the sound was great and it always got fresh air, but I live where it gets a lot of snow in the winter......

Help!!!! Bumper is off, only want to do this once.

Thanks!!!

Nevermind, All done. Used stock snorkel and stock u bend and ran it to my bumper opening.... much better sound, and it is protected by the fog light openings so it doesn't get water. Looks 75% stock.

^ is that still connected to the rest of the resonator? I know you got rid of the box, but it seems like you connected it to the tubing that leads back UP into the engine bay... I might just wanna let the tubing end right there at the bumper space. It's hard to tell , your pics are kinda small.

I actually just routed it to my bumper. Pics are small, but I cut out a small part of the driver's side lower bottom black grille and routed it there. It looks like I just routed it back up to the engine...sorry I will post some more pics tomorrow if people are interested.
