my own revised ATLP jpipe ;)

labree motorsports hooked me up. this is what the u bend looked like before. it was dented and badly scraped almost all the way through.

and here it is after

for those of you with a badly damaged ATLP jpipe, all you have to do is order SS U bend with a tight 3' radius. he basically cut it in half to so it can line up properly, rewelded it and he was able to tuck it up a little over a 1/2 inch for more ground clearance. for safe measure, he added a SS piece of 3/16 bar for a skid plate, for a little added protection.

Nice! A skid plate!

We're working on a new V2 design with OE ground clearance while keeping the performance unaltered. Hit me up, we'll do a test fit.

thats right

basically repaired it, but we angled the u bend upwards to give it better ground clearance. then he added the crossmember to sturdy it up and skid plate to give it some more protection.

the part cost me around 35.00 bucks, then labor was another 70., so around 100 bucks total repair cost, but much cheaper than buying a new pipe.

oh man, i forgot to tell you. christmas night while i was at my sisters house, the upstairs condo above my garage caught on fire. i lost EVERYTHING including those brand new falkens i bought from you a few weeks prior i had 2 on the shelf which completey melted and dissappeared and the other two i had near the floor. this is what was left of them,

my 19 racing harts were also on the floor packed away in the boxes my new volks came in. they are ok, but have major smoke damage and need to be refinished. it could have been my volks in there (thank god) oh well, i always look on the lighter side of things. any other day besides xmas and my car would have been in their too O.O

thanks man

thought it might be the most economical way to go, rather than buying a whole new pipe. these things arent exactly cheap.
