Brake modification

I own a 2008 Acura TL (Base) and I was wondering if I can put on the calipers of the 2008 Acura TL Type S onto my base TL and also could I use the same brake pads and rotors too?

No, you cannot without modifications. Since the Type S Calipers, Rotors and pads are larger, you would need to convert the whole system over to the Type S, including the caliper bracket. This may require new mounting holes for the caliper bracket, but I am not positive on that one. If you are looking for additional stopping power, I would suggest to upgrade your rotors and pads to a performance set. Try out SP Performance, I have had great luck with their products in the past. Best of luck!

If you want to pull off this conversion you'll need not only the brake calipers, rotors, and hoses, you'll also need new Knuckles and Splash Guards.
