My ATLP V2 Review (pics included)
It's been about a month and a half since I've upgraded my RV6 j-pipe to the ATLP V2, and I think it's time to write the review.
When I swapped my stock j-pipe with the RV6, I did notice a slight bump in power. Nothing neck-breaking, but it was there. With the ATLP V2, I noticed the extra power immediately, not to mention the deeper exhaust note. As stated by others before, going from RV6 V1 to ATLP V2 felt like the performance gain from stock to RV6.
As for sound.... at idle and when driving, the exhaust is definitely louder and deeper, nothing I didn't want. And it wasn't just noticeable to me, a friend that rode with me the next day (who didn't know about the new j-pipe) commented on how much exhaust sounded different.
Install would've been simple if one of the nuts holding the j-pipe to the cat wasn't stuck. It took about an hour for the mechanic to get it off. Other than that, everything was pretty straightforward...including the needed trimming.

Good stuff dude....I just installed mine almost 5 days now...i'm lovin' it and yes I did the same thing i took my car to the shop to have them loose two of the nuts for me....it's a pain in the ass but it's worth it at the end.

Both test pipe and race pipe should have the same flow. The only difference between the 2 is ... the exhaust might sound a bit louder with the race pipe. Other things you can do is a pre-cat delete ... I don't think you wanna do that ... cause the strict emissions we have. You can also do a mid-muffler delete and swap out the resonator with a Magnaflow (Stage2). I have a Stage2 setup for sale if your interested.

Im thinking to go with a atlp J-pipe v2 and a test pipe. I sold my atlp base exhaust cause i couldnt stand the drone and i didnt like the loss of low end torque either.
my question with a stock exhaust on a AT Tl will the sound change much with that addition and also what about low end torque and how about the gain in general ???
