my 1/4 times at the track
Yesterday I went to Great Lakes Dragway up in Wisconsin to take the car for some runs which was pretty fun. I went up there with some friends 04 Gti and 04 Jetta 1.8 t , 99 Mitsubishi Eclipse Gs-t, and a 97 Integra LS. There was many mustangs, skittles which are the SRT-4's haha, many civics, DSM, WRX..etc..
Oh yea I also meet this cool guy that also was from Chicago that came up to run his 04 Accord Coupe which was decent he ran a 14.9 he had cold air intake and comptech exhaust and don't know what other mods he had, but he was a cool guy. My friend in the GTI ran a 15.3 which was his best time his bro with the Jetta 1.8t ran a 14.8, Integ LS ran a 15.9 and the Mitsu Eclipse Gs-t best run was a 14.7.

How many miles do you have on your TL?
You should be able to get into the 14s. Were you using the sportshift? The best way to run these cars is VSA off, put it in Sportshift, let the computer automatically shift 1-2 for you and then shift the 2-3 shift exactly at the redline without hitting the rev limmiter. I've only run my TL Type S at the track and was getting 14.7s-14.8s with no mods. Seeing these poor showings at the track in the 3rd gen is really making me want to take my 04 TL to Englishtown. I'll let you know what I can muster out.
