Muffler Or Catback Exhaust System
Aye whatsup everybody, I have a 2007 TL with nav. and I'm thinking about either purchasing a new exhaust system at a reasonable price (Im trynna ball on ah budget here
), or just a muffler for my TL. The sound I am looking for is a deep sound that gets loud when accelerating but is some what quiet when at normal speeds. Any suggestions would be great.

Stage 3 is cheap and has a very nice tone. Around 2500-3000 RPMs, it sounds great, after and before that it quiets down.
These are A LOT of videos on YouTube with the Stage 3, as well as a lot with catback exhausts.
One cheap exhaust that comes to mind is the Tsudo Catback, it's $450 shipped on one website.
Only other real option is to keep an eye on the Black Market for people selling their more expensive catback.

I just did what I thought was Stage 2. I deleted the rear muffler in the line and then took off the stock res and added the Magnaflow 10416. So far I love the sound. I've had loud and annoying exhausts, and this one is very pleasing. I don't think the TL is suppose to sound like a turboed 240 with a fart-can exhaust. It has to have a nice deep sound, and it does, it sounds almost like a G35 sedan.
